Walking dead should be a gift not a curse

Give walking dead a damage buff and remove MP costs, what's convoluted about it?

It would essentially just boil down to a 50% damage increase for DRK while in Walking Dead, because no one is going to turn on Grit to spam DA Soul Eater. If your only intent with this buff is to make it easier to get back to full then there are less convoluted ways to do it. An easy example would just be to give Walking Dead a healing%+ effect.

Not so much about making it easier to get back to full and more about getting back to full without the help of a healer. Healing % up wouldn't help that because it wouldn't effect souleater, abyssal drain or bloodbath which are a DRKs only healing kit.

You have problem with the death, not with the dps. So it's logical to search for fix in the healing department to avoid the effect being exploited for dps gain.

If healing % does not work for you, you should seek an additional effect that would work similarly to Bloodbath. Getting healed through hitting the mob.
