until like in 6.0 when theyre tired of the summoners complaining about summoner, they rename the job to invoker, and maybe actually work on a classic summoner(dont expect it, dont hold your breath it probably wont happen)
They never said 'no' to new appearances, they said 'no' to full new egis with new skills. They are starting with carby, but they never said carby was the only thing being added.
So you will have visual variation, but you will be restricted to summon I for contagion most of the time.
That carbuncle does not belong to her.
The Carbuncle's owner is Arnott who is Ulan's assistant and he appears in Idyllshire once you reach Anima 3.3 phase.
Once you complete Anima 3.3 and talk to Arnott he will reveal that the Carbuncle with the Miqote girl in Idyllshire is his.
Oh that's a real shame. I mean the point of a summoner is to summon creatures and use them to the fight.... Might as well change the summoner role name to something elseThey never said 'no' to new appearances, they said 'no' to full new egis with new skills. They are starting with carby, but they never said carby was the only thing being added.

Ifrit = Melee
Titan = Tank
Garuda = Ranged
I dont see the point of having more additional Egis (Leviathan, Ramuh, Shiva), when you still able to summon only 1 egi at a time. Maybe you should be able to summon 2 Egis (first for damage, second for buffs), like:
Ifrit = Melee
Ramuh = Increases Egis Skillspeed
or
Garuda = Ranged
Shiva = Every Egi-attack is now an AoE
or
Ifrit = Melee
Garuda = Increases outgoing damage

The only way to really justify new summons outside of changing appearance would be making resistances relevant, but that could have bad changes to BLM in return...
The summoner could use something new though, as the summon is a fairly small part of the class as they are now... Ifrit you don't even need to control manually, Garuda and Titan only need minimal input from you.
