[New Egis] Are we ever gonna get new ones?

I know egi Glamour is everywhere in this forum. But tbh I don't really see the point on getting a Glam for existing ones. It's not like they are gonna be getting new actions or traits.

My question is very simple, are we ever gonna get new Egis in the near future?
I would honestly like to see Shiva Ramuh and many more. They don't really need to be amazingly powerful or anything like that. It would be nice if we get a bit more variation that's all.

Are there any plans at all?

nope, they scrapped the idea of new summons entirely for the idea of glamour and a new route for summoners. (aka the trance stance)

Yup was it the level 52 quest? Maybe the HW 50 one, they flat out game lore that idea away, "maaaan you arent strong enough to summon ramuh, ah well. Lets go invoke BAHAMUT instead"

cheesy way out, but i have to admit i think smn was probably the best job improvement between the others in 3.0 imo. Its...painful to do level 50 content with a smn now for me

Move contagion so it's a summoner ability and we wouldn't have much issues. Oh and get rid of the "role" for egis.

They say more in line of that your body can handle only 3 egi because you use your own aether to create the egi. The amount of aether your body has can't sustain more than 3 egis. So Allagans thought of a way where you invoke the primal's power and use it for a set amount of time. I don't think its chessy, its quite smart actually and makes a bit of sense.

We are getting carby glamour from wonderous trials miqote npc (more than likely, as she is a carby master herself)

The team doesn't want pets to out dps / outshine the actual player character, summons are kind of tact on, rather than the main attraction and even so, I like smn best.

Smns dmg application viability is enormous, impossible to mess up your rotation and you are penalized for nothing, compared to almost every other class has some sort of stacking mechanic.

Maybe a new egi would be cool but I would rather the developers focus their team and time on things that actually matter, Dreadwyrm trance is your summon, you are bahamut, and you contagion your raging dots etc.
