Let Us Change Skin-Color at Aesthetician

How about a compromise option? Maybe they could charge a small monthly fee of like $1 for the option of being able to change skin tones at the aesthetician, similar to how you'd subscribe to extra retainers.

Or maybe they could make a new type of fantasia that only lets you change skin/eye colors for a reduced price?

Never happen, they would lose income from all the Fantasia sales.

I really don't think this would impact the sales that much, because if that was their mindset, then hairstyles would probably be locked behind Fantasia just the same.

Considering that fantasia does MUCH MORE than just allow you to change skin tone (you can change gender and even your race), I don't see why adding an in-game option to change skin color is a bad thing.

Would rather just have an overhaul of the character creator itself and have actual context to having 2 different clans with skin tone as only real difference but thats just my 2 cents I guess

hair doesn't make a huge impact. Meanwhile the skin color and eyes color as well as height and muscle can make it. People will do extreme things to change. I read a person's comment after watching someone else character looking "cuter" They said they need to look the cutest so they were gonna fantasia so they could modify their looks.

I don't really see how that's an argument against adding a skin-changing feature that's outside of Fantasia. If it works just like hair/makeup changes, for instance, then it's just changing one feature out of the many other aspects that go into character creation.

Better yet, why not have an item that's a "lesser fantasia" which will be cheaper and caters more to people who only want to make minor alterations to their character's appearance like skin tone, eye-shape or whatnot? Stuff like changing races, height or gender could be exclusive to the "full" fantasia item.

Probably because SE is making money with he feature it has. Of the demand for fantasy reduce, they will look for a way to get more income.

We already have two different levels. I'm not sure there's enough to really justify a third middle tier in between them. Minor alterations are done in-game through the aesthetician and major character changing ones are done through fantasia.

The only issue is that there's some rather odd limitations to the aesthetician's options that don't seem to fit the pattern. It would make a lot more sense for skin tone to fall under that category rather than under the major (fantasia only) category. (Of course, you'd still need a fantasia if you want a different range of options for skin tone if that requires switching clans.)

I totaly agree. why does SE make a promise to us to change the skin and eye color but then forget it or change their minds?
