I would love to be able to put a piece of fricking Metal/Iron (or whatever) onto my eyeball. Who would'nt want that?
So you are saying that we won't just stop with the eyes, but we will replace organs, limbs and such aswell?
I am a huge 40k Ork fan and would love me some scratchbuilt limbs myself.
Edit: also, in Deus Ex it's not contacts, they are replacing the eyes. So that link is invalid on this topic of contacts.
lol, I can only imagine the horrors of what would be usedBut in all fairness, this is still the same game that added Lightning into the game by some stretch, and so I think they could make some concessions when it comes to eye-color changes.
My point is that FF14 has some pretty weird stuff. You cant tell me that we cant do something as simple as changing eye colour. Why cant the Sylphs have some illusion magic to change the colour? So you are saying that we won't just stop with the eyes, but we will replace organs, limbs and such aswell?

you're right. I've never seen guest-stars in tv shows during special events that won't change the show alltogether after.
Q: What features will we be able to change in the barber shop?Source: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...808-23-2013%29A: You will be able to change your character's hairstyle, hair color, eye color, scars, face paint, and face paint color. The barber shop will be released in patch 2.1, so don’t worry too much about not being able to change aspects of the character you initially created.
So, where are our eye colors?
I won't say anything if it's doable or not. I'm leaving that for SE as they are the ones who tell what fits with the story and not.
And what you said now, "Magic" sounds far more realistic in FFXIV than a contact would imo.
But in the end, personally I think this won't happen because it would lower the sales on the Fantasia Potions.
