Let Us Change Skin-Color at Aesthetician

Seeing people buy fantasias in their hundreds in exactly why we can't have these things.

I feel you should be able to change everything at the arsthetician except character details such as name, birth year etc and race/gender.

- eye colour
- hair colour
- hair style
- skin colour
- make up

Should all be available to change in game without fantasia. I used it once (freebie) to change only my skin colour as I looked a lot paler in game after my initial creation. Can't imagine paying money for just that. 20 bucks for a change in skin tone... no thanks. Might be different if you want to change race/gender and go the whole hog but not just to change eye or skin colour only. Yet people do...

I always felt like the Aesthetician should let you change skin tone either within the row or at least the Columns (wishful thinking really).

But the aesthetician should really let people change their eye colors. contact lenses yo.

Uh you know that big ball of fire in the sky? Yeah that's how people got a tan in the old days before tanning beds.

Personally rather have eye color changed via the aesthetician over skin. Skin can remain fantasia based, but it's unlikely for either to happen.

I wonder what the explanation of Au Ra changing their face scales] and limbal rings has? Do they like craft and shape scale bits and paste/remove them as desired? That's not too far fetched... but it must be magic or something to change a glowing ring in the eyes!

Skin and eye color changes seem negligible aesthetic differences in comparison.

Emmm... this is a Final Fantasy game, so it's a little bit off saying this games takes place in an "era" comparable to real world, usually western games can be compared, but games from the FF universe I really doubt it.

Many Hair Colors don't go with many Skin Colors.

I can get in behind this. I was just thinking a few weeks ago about changing my character skin color to match real world seasons. You know, darker in summer and paler in winter. But then maybe Eorzeans just don't tan...

This thread is years old. If they haven't changed by now it's probably not going to happen. Lore has nothing to do with why this can'e be done. The cash shop is why this won't happen.

Never noticed if it happens but just thought of it when reading this.
An emote or just something characters do when in these regions would be nice and the regions I'm talking about? Snowy ones. Would be nice if characters rubbed hands together or rubbed their arms like you do when coldif you were stood around for a bit doing nothing. Could also be used if it's a rainy day in the shroud etc. Anyway I diverge
