The relic is a casual weapon and so it's almost impossible to nerf it.

Do you know why we get the nerf? So that more players are more likely to waste their time doing it... because if the wall is huge the players are going to say "NOPE!" and not even bother starting it.

My personal issue with the relic is that SE could give players choice to balance the difficulty with time sink yet they do not do that. Imagine that for the last step you could instead of 240 antitower runs kill NidEx 60 times or that midas savage would drop 10 umbrites per floor etc. That would be much more bearable because the players would be rewarded for more difficult tasks towards the relic... yet nope. We just get the time sink for supposedly legendary weapons.
