This isnt about FFXI revival really. But call it what you will. This FFXI revival just needs to stop already. The game is dead, get over it. Trying to bring the game back just makes you sound like one of those old people that keeps bickering, "Back in my day we ---!" We know everyone is obsessed with their childhood games. We all are. But the reality is, those times are dead. We have to grow up and move on and realize that times have changed. If we didn't, we'd be stuck in the SNES and N64 era forever.
Did you read the thread? It's a short one, should not take long. This FFXI revival just needs to stop already. The game is dead, get over it. No, thanks. FFXI was boring.
Ten-tonne swing is scripted and has no indicator. It only kills just enough people to make everyone else laugh (at them). I think that's a perfect balance.
They basically said that without saying it. There is things that Yoshi said he doesn't want to put in because it will confuse new players. Or something along those lines.
It's not? Oh dear. I do apologize. Either my eyes deceive me or the title of this thread is horribly misleading when it says "Make FFXIV more like FXI".
Yes I read the thread. All it had to say was "Make FFXIV more like FXI. Yes, I went there."
Oh you meant the comments of the other people? Again, please forgive me. I probably should've since the OP had no suggestions in their post to give us a discussion with. I was pretty sure this was just another, "FFXIV isn't FFXI. Take us back to the glory days" threads.

FFXIV doesn't play like wow at all really. FFXIV is its own game. Both games you mentioned are still available as well for people who like them.
