I've had my moment of frustration with the OP, but there is a point to be made here that's valid: In an ideal situation, players learn how pass mechanics, not fail them. Players failing mechanics is something, I hope, no one wants. And that's the OP's goal.

However, as I've said before, the OP is assuming a LOT of the player base if they're expecting this lesson to be executed, as I outlined before. Furthermore, the people that would learn from this, would learn just as well from a bit of extra communication from the more experienced players about how the mechanic works.

Trolls are going to trigger the traps on purpose anyway. Players that don't care aren't going to magically care if they don't get freed. Perhaps the only people that COULD benefit from a lesson here are those that could potentially get vacuumed in by a trap that's set off, but for melee and tanks standing a safe distance from a trap requires the main tank to have the awareness to move Calofisteri appropriately so the trap isn't in the way.

In a sense, I'm not entirely sure planting landmines near your fence is the best way to get your dog to stop digging his way out. Well, assuming you want to keep the dog alive, anyway. Poor analogy, but my point is: the OP is suggesting a rather absurd method to address a problem that probably has better alternatives, if it's something that's even feasible to fix. Ultimately, as much as we all want to, we can't control the 23 other people we end up with.
