The reason why you can't recover in a savage as easily versus people dying in something in XI is because XI has more versatility, mainly due to the sub job system. XIV is more role dependent rather than player dependent, meaning you rely solely on the tanks to know when to mitigate damage, use provoke. You rely on healers to know when to prepare for tank busters and dps etc. DPS just...dps. That's fine and dandy within the confines of how the game is prepared but you can't say that its honestly more difficult versus having various comps for various outcomes. A blm who subs whm can save and heal a group in XI versus XIV, where all a smn can really do is res and toss some baby heals.

Clear rate numbers honestly do not matter either, since its becoming more and more apparent from raiders that they do not clear the more recent raids because it doesn't feel worth the time. Personally, I do not do the more recent raids because the rewards are honestly lackluster and the "challenge" that people claim is there is just a facade. Coil honestly had more interesting mechanics even though I still didn't agree with the rewards then either. Its still nice to see that some people can't clear t5 sync'd.
