Who are you to define what the core mechanic of a mmorpg is? Things are constantly changing, the way we listen to music has changed over the years but we are still listening to music. And it has been ok in many...many ...many...mmorpgs i have played in the past. bold....I actually wonder how many times in the history of MMORPGs has the issue of powerleveling been disputed? And why, after nearly two decades, it's suddenly okay in this genre?
Oh wait, it's not. Because when people can skip the core mechanic of a MMORPG, it's a different kind of game.
Phew, I almost got confused, there.
