A Deep Dungeon Possible Issue

It's one thing to be cooperative... it's another thing entirely when people become expected to essentially give up their previous 4 dungeon runs for the sake of the 5th group. Far fewer people are willing to do that, even the more benevolent sorts, and I understand that. It's not like these are quick 15-20 minute dungeon runs either, except maybe the first 10 floors.

Those 2 guys that were pre made didnt care at all about the opinion of the random players. Did they asked our opinion of the matter? No! They didnt care at all, they just wanted to finish their aetherpool before reaching to floor 50.
They reallly prefer provoke a duty fail than just eating the 30 min penalty for leaving.

Amaisingly, this guys were very hardcore, our ran was very fast and they did know when and when not use the pomaders. My second try was much slower and we had to hurry up on the remaining floors.

Of course I made a report and a GM answer me inmediatly. I explained what happened and gave me the full reason of it. You cannot stop the progress of orthers at purpose by force and has it big consequences.

I am not sure I understood what you meant. The GM gave you an answer or just didnt care ? your last sentence to me makes no sense. Did he mean there would be conséquences for those that acted like that ?

Some of you may know your able to make your aether gear solidified so you can use it outside the dungeon, and to do that you need to get them to lvl 30. Now, I'm at 28 Arm, and 29 Armor. Which means the last floor is the only place I'l get my level up I need. Now say if rng was being a "Diadem" and you didn't level your gear once, in that place during that floor. If you continue onwards, well your gonna have to run it all over again to 1-10, BUT...if you leave the dungeon dooming your team members. you can have another shot at getting your levels you wanted.

Just so you know I never seen this happened, but the thought sparked in my head because this rng bs will make players wanna go "F*** this place!" That is all.

Also a quick non topic related question. Anyone know if the Return Cairnes (w/e) actually allow you to keep your gear levels? And also how the heck do they work? XD

I have seen it happen, and I had no problem with it. People instantly re-queue, and I'd rather that person not have to start over from level 1 if they don't have to.

Actually I think this would work. Can anyone confirm? Although this morning I dc'd after doing floor 1-10 (just as I was clicking on the exit as luck would have it) and when I was able to get back online about 10 mins later I didn't have any exp and no save data. So it does seem like nothing is saved until you click the exit portal.

the other floors are from exiting but floor 50 it's the final boss that drops the potsherd.

I made the report and I got a response from a GM inmediatly. He asked what exacly happened and I explained to him, he agreed with me and said that I did good on making the report.

So yes, stoping the progress of orthers by force is a punishable act.

I've run it twice now and my gear is only +25/25. Not really looking forward to doing it a 3rd time just for 5 points. Oh well.

What's sad is, you're probably not going to get it your third time, either. I'm +27/28 after my third run. I had a guy last night I was running with saying it was his fifth run, when we cleared that run, he was still 1 short. There is an immense amount of range here in multiple stages. First, the floor needs to spawn a silver chest. Second, that chest needs to actually be a silver chest and not a trap. Third, if it is, there's a roll for it to be successful. Fourth, there's a roll for arm and armor. You may be capped on armor and always get arm or vice versa. So yeah, don't get your hopes up in thinking you'll get it on your third run.

This works, i've tried earlier on a stage i didn't get anything. Just kill the boss, don't leave the boss room and log off, after 10 mins you can log back and you'll be back on the lobby and can repeat the stage you just finished. For those that don't care about potsherds it's a much friendly way of resetting than leaving, you also only get a 10min "penalty" rather than a 30min one.

Often then not people dont clear floors and they miss on chests. Just to give an example floor 21-30 the only silver chests we got (3) were from mobs. But people are sooo in a hurry you know then complain they have to do it again
