Btw, someone actually asked if they could leave the group if they didn't get their gear levels. I guess asking is ok, but....idk. Its just crappy to me.



 
			
			
				I think they really need to add some sort of RNG insurance to counter this. Either lower levels still need to have *some* chance to level your weapon, so it doesn't feel like wasted time going through them when you're close to +30/+30, or there needs to be some way to guarantee at least some progress each time you do the full 50 floors. That way, you don't feel like you're punishing yourself for completing Floor 50.
Either a guaranteed +1/+1 for clearing 50 or the ability to trade in Potsherds for a +1 to either Arm or Armor would probably do the trick, since clearing 50 does give you a Potsherd as it is.
Right now, when you've got only one or two levels to go, and you're staring at a level 49 run in which you got no upgrades...it really does make either wiping or leaving more attractive than doing the whole two-hour slog through floors 1-40 again.

				Does it save as you leave the instance thru the portal or will it also save if you choose to leave but after the boss is dead? If so you could leave on floor 50 but not screw anyone over.





 
			
			
				It prompts a question "do you want to save now?" when you leave through the exit after the last boss. Not sure if it's possible to leave without saving after the boss is dead.
I've had a person leave the group and got a replacement in matched party mode.

Although this morning I dc'd after doing floor 1-10 (just as I was clicking on the exit as luck would have it) and when I was able to get back online about 10 mins later I didn't have any exp and no save data. So it does seem like nothing is saved until you click the exit portal.

And that's all they'd need to change to fix this issue. Let people complete the boss fight with their team and then decide individually whether to save or not, just like they're already doing on the other floors.

				This works, i've tried earlier on a stage i didn't get anything. Just kill the boss, don't leave the boss room and log off, after 10 mins you can log back and you'll be back on the lobby and can repeat the stage you just finished. For those that don't care about potsherds it's a much friendly way of resetting than leaving, you also only get a 10min "penalty" rather than a 30min one.Actually I think this would work. 				Just need a aetherpool chest to spawn after each boss with guaranteed boost provided you meet the level restrictions.
