    Greetings, gunslingers of Eorzea!

    We've received quite a fair amount of feedback regarding the duration of the Ammunition effect, and plan to make adjustments to this in the future. While changes are still in development, we welcome any additional thoughts you may have and request that the machinists of the realm please look forward to it.

    Considering the present state of MCH's, this change should have been implemented ages ago. Unless they're saving the timer for a future interaction we know nothing about, as it stands today, it would be nothing more than a QoL improvement; which means we'll see it rolling on live pretty soon and yayyyy! lol. No more messing around my QR cd because of delayed pulls

    Cause i have a fear that this means, that the SKILL Reload will remain in effect until all ammo is used. Aka: It wont go on Cooldown until we used all 5 Ammo.
    Which.. would be a really bad nerf, fucking over all of our timings.

    I hope you're wrong, I hope it only means the timer has been removed and that it will now can be used like chakra V for monk (without any timer anymore).
    I'm scared now, we will see but I hope it will be a change in a good way :/

    There's no way this is true. "in effect" just makes it like aetherflow. Several skills stay "in effect" but don't make the countdown hold till it's gone, tank/cleric stances etc. Even statuses that stay in effect a limited time like buffs, swiftcast etc...the cooldown starts when popped, not used up.

    Every time I see Dark Arts I'm reminded that that mechanic was how ammo was SUPPOSED to work, and it makes me both sad and jealous...

    It also explains the original QR CD, as well as the timer on ammo. Personally I'd rather be back to the old QR timer, and have the multiple barrel attachments and ammo effects that MCH was purportedly getting, prior to HW release.

    Edit: even if it was watered down versions, like Ammo boosting Hot shot buff to 10%, or raising Lead shot DoT potency.... really I want ammo to do something more than '+20 potency. Woo.'

    Indeed, whatever happened to these "attachments"? It made the job sound positively awesome. It's still fun, but in a very different way.

    They either didn't have time to implement them when 3.0 launched or they flatly couldn't get them to function in a way they were pleased with.
