Power-leveling is absolutely BROKEN

After 1.18 i got ARC from rank 15-25 in 2 days (and i worked so it was like 4-7 hours tops)... the fast lvling has ALWAYS been there for low levels.

Stop bitching.

If they change it i will not care if they leave it i will not care why? because If you get to lvl 25 from lv 15 in 2 mins or 2 hours IT WILL NOT effect me in the least.

Play your game worry about you.

We're not talking about fast leveling for "low levels." We're talking about the ability to go from 1-50 in a day. 35-44 in 2 hours.

Acting like changes to the game that are that drastic don't affect people that don't use them is just being stupid. It affects the game as a whole, for everyone, regardless of how they play individually. I am worrying about me.

Seriously, just close this thread. You aren't going to sell anyone who isn't already for or against it. Not everyone will be using PL'ing to level. Leveling is fast in general... 5 days, 2 days, 3 days or even 1 day what difference does it really make? You can get max pretty fast by partying or PL. This whole thread is /useless because it's only pointing out what Yoshi already accepted as a probable outcome from patch 1.19 and he deemed ok.

Also your a troll if you think EVERYONE is gonna have friends to PL them from lvl 1-50.

I love how Lodestone is full of Doom Syndrome kids who use extreme examples in an attempt to prove a point. 100% of people are going to PL and go from 1 - 50 in one day and then FFXIV will be empty cause... uh.. cause everyone will quit because... uh... because!!!!!!!!!! /DOOM /sike

I don't believe a 50 can PL a 45 very well. Obviously, there will be diminishing returns at some point, probably around level 45.

And I don't think everyone will have friends to PL them. But enough will for it to damage the game balance.

There's a reason that a mechanic like this doesn't exist in any other mmo. It's very obviously game breaking. People who can't see that are shortsighted, dumb, or don't care if the game breaks.

....low lv dun.. will have value for farm only.. low-mid raid will no ppl do.. even it make for xp. low lv equipment is meanless in marketing.. all system got destroy from this.. if u can pass lv 1-40 in 1 week... lol so alot raid 15 25 35 will become to trash. so what meaning of dungeon or alot hunting spot around the would will do? just end game dungeon will have value?

First of all 45-50 is a Party not a PL not that it really matters.

Second of all, since the patch I have gotten 5 parties. Every single one started out as a standard party with 4+ people grinding on Mobs pulling in good chain at a good pace. Within the hour, every single time, the leader invited a level 50 to join the party and kill everything for us. That was level 30-40. That is not low level.

Finally, whats it going to be like when level cap goes up? Is it going to be fun when the first level 75s are pling all the level 50s to 65 or 70?

What is the point of having levels in a game if you can just watch someone else give them to you? The way power leveling is right now, they might as well just have the GMs auto advance everyone to cap, raise the cap, and do it again.
