    At this point, I'm happy we can even USE amazon.com to buy stuff, a few years back we couldn't at all.
    Oh? Digital items are eligible for this promotion? Don't have an NA account myself, so I haven't kept myself too up-to-date, but last thing I heard was that you had to buy something that they'd actually ship to you. (And pre-orders, but I assume those are due to the "we will ship this to you. eventually" premise.) If digital items are eligible, then that's awesome and makes it a little bit better at least =)

    Namely:

    Agreed. And while half of NA is served fine by amazon.com, the other half (Canada) have problems with it. Ideally, they should have made their NA campaign available from both amazon.com and amazon.ca.
    For Europe? I assume it'll once more be an online shop the promotion will end up in, but... will it be a .uk shop? Or a .de? Or a .fr? (Those three being the languages/countries represented by the game client.) What about all the other countries? What about European countries not part of the EU, who thus aren't eligible to the relaxed import laws between European Union countries. What about non-European countries who aren't represented with separate account origins (Oceania, Africa, parts of Asia, etc) but use EU accounts because it's the best option they have?
    I understand that it would be difficult for SE to accommodate all of them -- they couldn't even accommodate both of the NA countries, let alone all the South American countries -- but isn't that a clear reason why adding them to the Mogstation would be the best idea? ^^;

    I'm not impossible. I can accept that it's difficult to change the method of distribution for these items, not only because their contract with JP 7-11 might have included some clause about that promotion being the only way for JP players to get those items.
    But I would like to request from SE that they, in future promotion deals, make reservations when they sign promotion contracts that after X amount of time after the promotion's end, the promotion items will be made available via the Mogstation for all players. And, of course, that they rotate the initial region of the promotion (so, for example, next time the NA players will benefit from the initial promotion while other players will have to wait, and the time after that it's the EU players who'll get first dibs on the items) to avoid favoritism.
    I'd also like to request that the time of "global release" be made known once the inital promotion is over. I.e. if Promotion Y was available between first and last of September, and the contract had specified that 4 months after the promotion end the items would be released for purchase on Mogstation, they would announce on October 1st that the items would be made available some time during February the next year. Sure, it'd be a long wait, but at least we'd know. It'd be better than sitting around, hoping they'd get around to it Soon(tm).
