At the moment only half of lore weapon could outbeat the relic

No scholar would pass on the tetrabiblos
Blm is half half depending of your spellspeed meld
AST is Deneb all the way

Merely it depend of how you build your stuff and meld it
A heavy spellspeed melded black mage will like the relic, because the lore would give him even more (SS is good in single target but deadly in aoe)

There isn't much point to even discuss relic beating lore weapons because the effort needed to get a lore weapon puts it well outside the bounds of any sane individual. Not to mention stat tweaking gear is near pointless in this game.
