Well, perhaps you have missed the common notion that anti MW people have which is basically to bring something about that works as efficiently as an AH. Me and anyone else who are requesting an AH, simply request it because it works, not because it's an AH. So, until the MW becomes as efficient as AH, expect people to request an AH, because that is what is known to work and it works good.

Lol im cool as a cucumber homie. This is just kinda fun to poke at you guys with. I enjoy discussing these things. In truth it matters very little to me, I dont dedicate more than say an hour a week to FFXIV anymore. I recently got in Path of Exile beta and have been enjoying it.

What difference does it make if it helps make this game the best one ever? But an honest answer, I think the game will take about another 6 months to a year as a whole to be PS3 ready.

I don't want to see FF settle for what everyone else does, but there are more than enough people that may force them to do that. That, I think, has a bigger chance of leading to FF's downfall than hurrying up the development.

How much is too much to bite off? That is a question for Yoshi and devs to figure out. Whatever their decisions, I don't think they are making any without a lot of thought.

To be honest with you, i would like to get a feel of what this vision is and i think not many people do get it and you have to realise one year down the line, not many people will be patient. It is actually a big hassle having to deal with MW overall. Dumbing it down to search item > 30 sec run > done! is not a realistic view of the system, reality is it can take much longer. A simple example is buying a full set of gear, a worse example is what crafters can go through who will inevitably spend alot of time in the MW and i know TonyMontana is a full time crafter so i understand his frustration having taken many crafts, if not all to 50 (him, not me). We haven't even tapped into the bigger prob and that is selling. I'll just sum that one up by saying many including myself have ditched selling and gone vendoring because it's not worth the time, keeping in mind this is meant to be casual friendly.

I hope however, that the vision you speak of, whatever that maybe, is fulfilled by the time the major issues are fixed and this issue will likely be the next on the list. Otherwise, by then, i personally say scratch and bring AH in, or at the very least bring AH in and leave the wards for those fond of it for whatever reason. Though i doubt many would actually care enough for it.

I know people are impatient. I also know that the greatest of accomplishments usually don't happen overnight, or in a flash of insight. They take a lot of hard work and thought, usually.

I see a possible side-game using the market wards and retainers, made especially for people who like to play the market game. I don't know what Tanaka-san had in mind, but the retainer levels suggest they were for more than standing around the market.

In any case, while I personally enjoy shopping in the wards, I more than understand a lot of people don't. I'm not against people wanting to get in and out of the MW faster, I just want them to stay for those of us who like them. How to do both... personally I thought the best suggestion was having both MW and AH in a dual combination, but I'm also patient to see what Yoshi-P does.

Your right, it does take time, and patience is key. I don't think it's a breaker at the moment but when we start getting more gil sinks and more gear and items and the economy starts booming, convenience will become a key factor in the MW. So until then, MW is not a biggie, but it really should be given attention from now so we don't get this discrepancy in the game as we are now; with new content/fights being introduced but still lacking a party search feature to compliment it.

You do realize an AH poses it's own set of inadequecies and problems correct? Because switching from something that isn't perfect, to something else that isn't perfect, isn't what I would call a progressive step for an already hurting game.
