Im actually glad there isnt now. Since lots of people are losing intentionally in 4v4 and so far we havent seen any plans to fix this other than giving them 1 day ban. Everyone can almost hit the max rank now with these feeders.

Then you have never met a good bard. With buffs/DoTs up, our Barrage>EA>FS>SW combo, can 0-death almost anything that isn't a tank, or has DEF buff. I often use it to insta-gib healers during the start of the match. DoTs and Straight Shot setup serve to remove the Stoneskin/Aldo they start with, which gives me full access to their HP bar. Then it's just a matter of getting those three off, and no more healer. Is that a true comp? Between the eyes on off GCD, while an empyreal barrage in on GCD. And Mech's have Rapid Fire which is close to empyreal barrage. Rapid Fire when paired with Reload and Gauss Round is also 660 potency... Or am I not understanding something?
All I know, a good Bard on the other team, does not scare me the way a good Mech does.
Right? I might actually dust off my Drk now.Looks like good changes so far. Glad to see you guys have listened to us. Though I'd have to see DRK changes in action to tell if it's going to make a huge difference, though I don't understand the Dark Arts CD reduction without touching the amount of MP dark arts uses coupled with being inside battle the entire time. If possible maybe the MP cost should have also been reduced.
As for the Dark Arts adjustment, it shouldn't be too bad in PvP, as the amount of Mp drained by darkside in PvP settings is at a reduced rate. The part that confuses me is that it is also being changed for PvE. Given that Mp reduction is at the normal rate in PvE settings, and there have been no buffs (that I know of) to Drk's ability to regain Mp, it seems strange that they'd also decrease it's CD in PvE ... unless there are more non-PvP related changes that we just don't know about yet.
Well, it does make things a little less clunky. As often as we pop that for certain things anyway, it's nice to have to wait less time between a DASE, and a DACaS.Right? I might actually dust off my Drk now.

All in all, I'm seeing some good changes so far.
It's hard to speculate on how the new interruption thresholds will work without actually seeing them in combat, but it sounds as though it will put interruptions back within the range of low damage jobs (such as Pld) without making every single hit of a high damaging job (such as War) cause an interrupt. I look forward to seeing how it plays out in practice.
Matchmaking and Heavy Medal changes look good as well, and I'm glad to see more job balancing adjustments being made, especially for Drk. Drk still lacks any real party utility (outside of maybe using Carnal Chill, if you happen to slap it on multiple targets), but at least the job won't feel completely gimped in comparison to Pld and War.
I do have a few questions, though. In this list I've not seen any content relating to the much debated Morale stat and PvP gear, the current state of Tome farming, nor the widely outdated rewards and vendor system. Have any decisions been made about these three issues? If not, are you still looking for player feedback and suggestions for them? I'm sure the community will be happy to continue to spit out ideas.

My list of direly needed Feast Changes.
1. Make Tome Rewards 20/10 for victory, 2/1 for loss.
2.Have a experience requirement for queing up for Solo Ranked. 100 Practice mode matches or pvp rank 40
That's true, and it would make your PvP burst much more frequent and readily accessible ... but in PvE I can picture this flat lining our Mp bars a lot faster. Right now, DA is used at pretty specific times in the rotation for the very purpose of Mp management. I can't imagine the frequency of it's use will change at all even if the CD has been reduced, because to use it more often than we already do would be voluntarily going bankrupt on our Mp.
I guess we can consider it to be more of a Quality of Life adjustment for PvE, though, kinda like the way they changed Oath Swapping on Pld. Like that change, it won't make any difference to our rotation or dps, but if we find ourselves in a position where we need to pop an extra DA it will be nice that we can.

Very excited for season's to start.
I'm hoping we can see some Tank Abilities add value to PvP... (Provoke being an example) Would be nice if this did something in PvP as right now it's useless.
An example would be that it adds a debuff on the target that lowers their attack against all targets, except the "take" provoker, who is now weaker against said target.

So that has a total Pot of 660+170+250 (assuming both dots up) for a total of 1,080
Now if we follow the same idea, one GCD, two off GCD's for Mech you get:
Between the Eyes 450
Gauss Round with ammo on GCD 220
A Rapid Fire Gauss Round with ammo for 660 (off GCD)
Total 1,330
Nor does that need two gcd's to set up.
Even after adjustment Mech beats out Bard by a total of 250 Pot (basically a third combo hit from a melee). 1,080 is good, but a double fell with Brutal Swing from a WAR is 1,100 (500+100+500). So it is not "special" (unless I missed something in the Pot calc)
Not saying Bards are not good, and any really good player is going to make you go damn it in solo-que. But a really good Mech, with that Pot? Brown Pants.
