Thread: Best PvP class?

Hi everyone. I'm new to pvp and I have to say I really enjoy it so far. now my question is, what do you suggest is the best class for pvp? I played as Astro but as a healer you really need a good group do defend you otherwise you get killed over and over (at least it seemed so yesterday or maybe I'm just doing smth wrong). I'm also very great full for any tips for newbies in pvp. Thanks ♡

The best PVP class is the one you feel most comfortable with.

Best healer class : Astro
Best tank class : War

You gotta know that burst is everything in pvp. The class who got the most burst will win. ( Same for the healer, sch for that isn't that good, and whm got too much mana issues, that's why ast is so OP).

It kinda depends on what you like to do. If you like support I hear Astro is really strong in PvP right now. If you like wading in and making a nuisance of yourself I'd recommend warrior. If you like being ignored as you kill ppls try ninja.

DPS: Machinist

Simple answer, most OP class in pvp no discussion. Its way above other classes, its easy to play etc...

I played as a machinist for 1 day only on a friends account, became gold...

I fear mch the most, while melees are to be feared for the lb, a mch can literally burst you down within a couple of seconds more often than a lb.

Healers, ranged DPS, and melee DPS are going to be focused first, so playing a tank could get you some time alone to gain experience. A team should be supporting healers where possible, but you can't really count on that.

Healing is high-pressure and takes some getting used to, but all the jobs have self-defense and AST can heal on the move. I've survived several players on me in Seal Rock on occasion. You can also survive melee LBs by focus-targeting them and watching for Raw Destruction, then using Attunement.

Huh...AST? I find WHM to be far superior. Crazy CC and super strong heals. AST was the strongest when you could actually be interrupted, but now it's around the middle of the pack imo.

Or maybe it's that all the AST I see are bandwagoners from the time AST was op in Wolves Den. I go INSANE when I see AST only kiting and spamming shields.

That being said, I've seen all jobs absolutely decimate in PvP. OP should play what he enjoys and get GREAT at it, not just good.

Astros are a pain I play mnk but can manage a LB on them if I'm lucky.
