Well, it does make things a little less clunky. As often as we pop that for certain things anyway, it's nice to have to wait less time between a DASE, and a DACaS.Right? I might actually dust off my Drk now.
As for the Dark Arts adjustment, it shouldn't be too bad in PvP, as the amount of Mp drained by darkside in PvP settings is at a reduced rate. The part that confuses me is that it is also being changed for PvE. Given that Mp reduction is at the normal rate in PvE settings, and there have been no buffs (that I know of) to Drk's ability to regain Mp, it seems strange that they'd also decrease it's CD in PvE ... unless there are more non-PvP related changes that we just don't know about yet.
That's true, and it would make your PvP burst much more frequent and readily accessible ... but in PvE I can picture this flat lining our Mp bars a lot faster. Right now, DA is used at pretty specific times in the rotation for the very purpose of Mp management. I can't imagine the frequency of it's use will change at all even if the CD has been reduced, because to use it more often than we already do would be voluntarily going bankrupt on our Mp.
I guess we can consider it to be more of a Quality of Life adjustment for PvE, though, kinda like the way they changed Oath Swapping on Pld. Like that change, it won't make any difference to our rotation or dps, but if we find ourselves in a position where we need to pop an extra DA it will be nice that we can.

I actually missed that side note about it being both pvp and pve. Was very tired this morning lol. I don't know.. if they're making more changes to existing skills in pve that will affect pvp we should have been told about those as well. I'm just glad to see they're at least listening to some amount of the feedback we've given. I won't make too many negative or positive comments about these changes till i've gotten to see them in action first though. I still feel like not enough is being done or communicated to us but it's a good start

Ninja Hide should be nerfed. They can run away and be classed as out of battle once far enough and hide with medals.
The Aetherflow buff is stupid too.
What was stupid was allowing one job the ability to strip a core or fundamental aspect of another job. About time they finally made it undispellable. SCH were already behind the other 2 heals as is they don't need to be handicapped even further with OIP spam.

that is the whole part of mnk. schs and smns had to readjust when there was mnk in other party, i suspect the people who wanted nerf was the ones who couldn't.
aetherflow is only 1min cd too, there is plently other buffs monk can take that has longer cd.
this also greatly buffs smn too.

A monk was capable of entirely shutting down everything a Summoner had beside their basic dots with ONE SKILL... If you don't see that as overpowered then you have no clue what balance means. If the PvP in this game was built on a Rock < Paper < Scissors approach then maybe it would make sense but as it was MNKs were the only job in the game with a hard counter to another job. It was completely unfair on SMNs and SCHs.that is the whole part of mnk. schs and smns had to readjust when there was mnk in other party, i suspect the people who wanted nerf was the ones who couldn't.
