As I stand looking out from my window, I reminisce about the old days and the many ups and downs of my adventures throughout Eorzea.
It is then that I know achievement.
please add an option to skip previously watched cutscenes in beast tribe dailies, im sick of seeing the vanu cutscenes
Please add an option to delete all messages in your moogle mailbox.
Able to talk in FC, LC, NN channels, but unable to bring up the list of people in the channel, while in a duty. No field for last logged in (plus availability to sort by that) because of database restrictions (I think). And yet we get all this new content, expansions, and everything else along the way, but we can't have last logged on field for FC/LS.
Blacklist someone, and when that character gets deleted, it is auto-removed from your blacklist. No more seeing <deleted>.
Blacklist someone, and when that accounts gets perma-banned, those characters are auto-removed from your blacklist.
If we cannot have notes on why someone got blacklisted, when we go back through and have to manually clean up our 200 limit list (party due to the above points not in the game) then it would be nice to know why I blacklisted someone. If I want to keep them on the blacklist, or ok after a while I can remove them. Perhaps Blacklist Groups like Friend Groups.
Improved reporting system for reporting RMT/bots:
- Right-click in chat and select RMT/bot, or right-click on the character and select RMT/bot.
- Have a drop-down to select, no free-form fields. Whatever small list. RMT, Bot, etc.
- Confirmation window pops up. Are you sure you want to report X player for Y reason? Have to click Yes or No. This helps if reporting the wrong person if chat scrolls by fast.
- That character that got reported, and all characters on that character's account, both current and future created (basically the account itself) gets blacklisted.
- Your location in the world and the reported person's character's name, zone, location, are all auto-entered in the report.
- A recent history of chat log is also sent.
- SE teams get precise and same data from us. No free-form fields, precise data is sent, and the same data is sent each time. A consistent and uniform set of data. We get an easier to use reporting system, SE teams get a standard set of data that should be easier and quicker to work with.
- Deleted characters and perma-banned accounts get auto-removed from blacklist.
- When kicking someone from Novice Network a drop down here as well instead of a free-form field. Or smaller free-form plus a drop down. Plus the person who invited the person is sent as well. If kicked for RMT/Bot, the above rules auto-apply.
In Progress dungeons take priority, sort of like it used to work. I can have someone in progress, need a replacement. I queue up, and I can either sit there, or I get a new run. Ask my friend did they get a replacement? Nope, they still looking for a replacement. So now I am stuck in a run I don't want to be in, stranding my friend's party, and if I leave my current party I am stranding them now as well. Same if I am DPS and we need a healer or tank. I used to be able to leave, swap, re-queue, get right back in. Now that almost never happens.
Mentor Roulette still seems just off. I can be a Mentor with very low requirements, but a roulette has all of these high end dungeons in them. It is like a complete disconnect between Mentor helping sproutlings, and Mentor being thrown into a "catch-all" single roulette and get dungeons that no sprout will be in (very rare and determined ones aside). Made a recent post that becoming a mentor will remain the very low requirements, and yet very high requirements for the Roulette? No additional Roulettes were needed, just that if you do a roulette, and you happen to also be a Mentor, you get a Mentor bonus as well.
Add a Raid Roulette.
Too many THIS OR THAT situations in this game.
- Can sit in DF and wait, OR you can grind with your Chocobo out.
- Putting stuff up to sell on Retainer, and DF window pops up. You cannot finish dealing with Retainer while DF window is up, and you cannot select Commence DF while Retainer window is up.
- I don't care what job I want to play, I just want to be thrown into the first dungeon possible. But as it stands, I can only queue up as a single job. Want to queue up for Job X for Y dungeons, OR, queue up for Job A for B dungeons. Why can't you do both here as well? The game makes you switch before entering anyway.
If there is a card, pet, mount, whatever, and I already have it, I cannot Need on it. The game knows on a limited number of items while rolling. I can't remember everything. Equipment searches can remember to search in personal, Retainer and Armoir. Make it smart and global.
- While searching for a minion, it will naturally search personal and Retainer inventories. AS WELL, it will search if you already have it.
- While searching for a mount, it will naturally search personal and Retainer inventories. AS WELL, it will search if you already have it.
- While searching for an orchestrion scroll (completed or not), it will naturally search personal and Retainer inventories. AS WELL, it will search if you already have it.
Tomestones, Rowena Tokens, beast coin rewards, Atmas, and everything else of that nature goes into Key Items. Basically, if it is used as currency to buy something, or a quest turn-in item, it goes to Key Items. I have 75 Key Item slots. Use them.
Be able to dye items from anywhere. From market board, from retainer, from loot roll window, personal inventory, chat link, everywhere. Same goes for house items. I should not have to be in a house to see a small house item and see different dyes on it.
Re-work of the UI system. If something is unchecked and disabled, do NOT load it into memory anyway. I'm looking at you new cooldown animations and why there can't be a toggle there but there is elsewhere. When something is toggled, the UI refreshes, and nothing unchecked is still loaded into memory.
Please fix your underground / porting spoofing that lets the bots run rampant. I know you want to keep them buying new copied of your game, but just do it. Take a more aggressive stance. Hire a part-timer to stand at the Old/New Gridania zone lines. Porting to and away all day long getting to that ARC guild.
When someone is invited to Novice Network, give notice to everyone in the NN who was invited by whom.
Add an alliance / raid / party notice on who initiates a Vote Abandon.
Kicking someone from NN, they can tell who kicked them and why. If someone is kicked from a party, they should be told by whom and why as well. You want us to report if someone is abusing the kick, well unless they said something in chat, once we are kicked, that's it. Makes things a little hard to do anything about.
Add a command like to show and hide player names. The command was in FFXI. I have a macro for heavy Fates and such that does this:
/battleeffect self all
/battleeffect party simple
/battleeffect other off
And another one that does this:
/battleeffect self all
/battleeffect party all
/battleeffect other all
Including a command line to turn on and off all names would greatly help to quickly reduce our lag.
I had more but I am drawing up a blank now.

MANTASTIC: I got 1017 problems, but playing FFXIV ain't one.
Llyren: Lala Tanks hit point density levels attract small planets
- Split the UI Element of the Buffs and Debuffs into separate elements.
- More Action Bars, Configurable number of slots (I want a bar of 1-3 without wasting a full bar of 8)
- Improve the Currency tab to include Beastmen specific coins, Red Scrips, Rowena Tokens, these all do not need to be actual tokens anymore
- FATE specific reward quest items such as Beastmen quest Fate items, Atma, Alexandrite, Luminous Crystals please make these all key items. There is absolutely ZERO reason why these need to take up inventory space when the key items tab is both functional and practically empty.
- Make Mentor Roulette accessible from level 15.
There is no reason I can not be a mentor and help other players in their roulette dungeons and gain experience for a job that is not at the level cap at the same time. I have multiple 60s just to be a Mentor, it doesn't mean I do not want to have more.
- Fix Parry or remove it completely.
Make Parry into "Defense" and make it do specific things for each tank that actually matter in terms of mitigation and tanking. Parry means an extremely small amount to the current tanking meta. Its an unfun and uninteresting stat that needs to go and be replaced by something effective.

Would not work for Alexandre since that item can also be purchased. For beast man Fate quest returns, since you can also get them outside of the quest, you'd be stuck with unremovable items if you had no interest to the quests, if they were key items. At that point they should only be received while the quest is active which is not change at least I desire.
I do agree the beast tribe currency tokens should be recorded as currency. Same for Rowena tokens. For them both, there's starting to be so ridiculous amount of variety in them that having to stash each with our limited retainer space is becoming a chore. One currency tab for beast tribes, and one tab for Rowena please.
If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.
If our blacklist is full, don't remove the "Add to Blacklist" item from the menu (as happens now), just disable it and grey it out. Either give an error like "blacklist full" if we try to select it, or just have nothing happen.
The reason is because we have to blacklist spam bots so often that the pattern to open the right-click menu, select the second from the bottom item, activate it and confirm (on PS controller: square, up, up, X, X) becomes muscle memory and done all together as if it were a single action. I no longer take the time to actually read through the right click menu. I just expect things to be where they always are. The problem arises when our blacklist is full. Then the "Add to Blacklist" command doesn't appear at all, which makes that second to bottom spot have the "Send Friend Request" command instead.
(I lucked out last night, when the spam bot I tried to blacklist and accidentally sent a FR to instead happened to be one of the ones that sends a /tell and immediately disconnects so I just got the "player not found" error. We can't rely that happening, though, and I don't want to accidentally end up on a spam bot's Friend list.)
When are we getting more space for macros? T_T; I'd love to use /autofacetarget off/on based on what class I'm on but... that would kind of require having more than 1 free macros slot :<
