3.2, one of the best patches so far?

I love how they put materia slot on blue gear and it's definitely a good chance for healer to put bunch of accuracy on it. Story is great, midas is fun, crafted gear become BiS for some class, but material to make crafter i170 gear is really rare like I rarely see it dropped from chest. Overall I enjoy it

How would you rate 3.2 in comparison to other patches?

A preface is necessary I feel; my case is probably a rather uncommon one (I hope), so I'm probably one of the few that feel this way.

First off, I'm truly glad you're having a blast with this patch, really I am. For me though...it was probably the last straw. Why? Well here's the two classes that I've always specialized in; Paladin and Blacksmith. Most probably went "oh....ouch man" but for those who didn't....read on. What did this patch do for Paladin; it has further cemented Paladin as the weakest battle class in the game. Big statement, but think about it. Out of all the tank classes, Paladin has always done the least dps, that's a common fact. SE has stated, and it has been shown, that overall, Paladin mitigates 5% more damage than the other two tanks. The only true benefit Paladin has is it's shield, and that is extremely circumstantial at best. So in comes 3.2, claiming to balance tanks....yet the patch actually made the gap larger. All tanks received a damage nerf, yet it hit hardest for Paladin and Dark Knight. Warriors got off easy, simply due to poor design. WAR is the ONLY tank class whose highest damage combo is also it's highest enmity-generating combo. Paladin and Dark Knight have to choose one or the other, thus the gap grew.

Blacksmith....do I really need to elaborate here? The last time Blacksmith was relevant was A YEAR AGO, when it had Wootz weaponry. 3.2 for blacksmiths that specialized was a nut-blow with a sledgehammer. We get on, we get the new master book, eagerly awaiting finally being able to craft relevant gear again....and we have glamor weapons. Lots and lots of 1 - 1 1/2 year old allagan weapons we can color. Cool. Perhaps SE should just rename us to Glamorsmiths and just be done with it?

To sum it up; I'm glad you enjoyed this patch, but for me it was SE flipping me the bird while rolling in the money I paid them.

By MSQ worst since 2.2 imo.

By other accounts, it's been pretty good.

I like both new dungeons, new raids and the materia added to gear.

I dislike the new trial, the new glamours.

Most boring patch to date. Tank changes are atrocious and unnecessary. Healing still brain dead easy with even more one handed inattentive button mashing than before, and DPS still need healers to carry them to undeserved victory.

Hildy is very nice though. Too Damn short, sadly.

Well, it's not as bad as patch 3.1 I'll say that.

2.1 is still king for me by sheer virtue of the amount of content it brought, some casual, some challenging.

3.2 was rather lacking on all fronts aside from Midas Savage, although I wish there was something other than Midas Savage to do that was relevant content. All there is otherwise is burning more Sephirot weapons, and doing your weeklies. Complete missed opportunity to revitalize Diadem into something worthwhile.

+ Seasonal events - Hatching Tide repeatable quests are much better and different from anything I have seen in seasonal events so far.

Two of the event quests are actually the modification of gold saucer's Vase Off and Time of my Life..
