Hey everyone, has anyone been able to beat a8s dummy without lore weapon? I'm barely beating a7s SSS with Seph weapons with good crit rates. I'm not fully melded but i dont know if it will make big enough difference to push me up to 1790~1800+ dps.

i220 crafted + sephirot weapon + one prototype midan ring unmelded should be around 1623 (I'm still modeling this at average i.e. 4m, 3m should have different numbers but to get that I'd have to tweak a few things and I'd rather prioritize remodeling my model so such things are trivial); no food, no party. With non-exorbitant melds in the guaranteed slots only (16 crit IV, 3 det IV), about 1658.

So while melding at least the guaranteed slots is pretty important and you should do it (that's >1% improvement, pretty significant... well, assuming you're not putting VIT in the accessories), it isn't going to take you that high.
