All the weapons in those pics look perfectly fine and unlike any of the ifrit-travesties.

I seriously HATE how serious about this you are. Ifrit Travesties? Get real dude. All the weapons look badass, and I hope the art team keeps going in this more interesting direction. You sound seriously, SO pretentious in every single one of your posts. I am tired of reading your groaning. Things are going to change whether you like it or not... so get used to it.

I seriously HATE how serious about this you are.

To be more accurate, it shouldn't be a plural. Only the bow is really horrible out of the 7 weapons.

Some of them do look quite ugly, but in a rather appealing sense. Slightly gritty perhaps.

Overall, they wanted to try something different but overdid it- and that goes for many changes in the game, so it's not particularly suprising.

Things are going to change whether you like it or not... so get used to it.

And I'm going to keep posting whether you like it or not... so deal with it.

Honestly there really isn't too much of one. The glowing is explained in clear context (Ifrit's body parts for crying out loud), but the weapons style may be in too high contrast with the rest of the weapons, girth being a strong factor.

Well considering what these weapons are, they fit right into the lore of the game, there are no incosistences at all.
I dont like the pug weapons either, but then again its just one more of the pieces of gear that I dont like (same with the jester hat) and there are quite alot.
I will not complain about the art style cause the guy who makes the art, knows more about me regarding what fits into and whatnot.

Sure I can complain, but not in an extreme fashion, like many people here make it sound like a major disaster (which is not).

What I want for my Monk is "Wolf head" knuckles, can I have that please?
I dont care if its not "practical"....

The Wolf Head weapon is made of inorganic material, has an ornate design, and is based on a classical element of romanticism (in this case, the wolf as the predator).
Fits right in.
