FFXI fan boys. They want this game to feel the same way so it satisfies their nostalgia or justifies them wasting 8 years of their life....

I'm def not a FFXI fan boy.. (cos i never had the time to be back then I just got a sub job and only played during the CoP expansion even if I was I wouldn't want a XI-2,. it was to much of a grind for me i like some but o.O at standing in that Deseret zone for hours..)

But the FFX weapons you linked are stylish , elegant and somewhat refined, and keep a semi practical look to them as gose for a lot of the weapons in FF games..

The Ifrit ones while the texture is nice, excluding the axe/lance don't have those qualities that I personally think of when looking at Weapons from FF games.
The Designs they have could have easily fitted in with that, but they are to chunky and do have a more WoW style to them then FF in my eyes almost totally cos of that.
