    Well almost all of the stuff used to be usefull for something... I remember when I was grinding carpenter on walnut and I used to gather the logs myself, I gathered along with them a lot of mats usefull for cul and weaver wich I used to give for free to my mates, but I could have sold them and make good profit while getting my own logs to grind.

    There was way too many items tho, a good percentage of what I got ended up trashed, but still limiting 1 whole area to just 3-4 items imho is too much, it takes away the bit of fun there's in gathering, i really enjoyed memorizing the spawn pattern of the area, the sweet spots and everything else.

    This one talks about the recipe changes that was posted last night which some players had concerns about + 1 error the devs had and players catched it.

    Regarding materials that will not be used anymore, with new recipes introduced in 1.19 these old materials will not be used but you can still use them using the old recipes to craft.

    ただし、
    • 鍛冶師:カッパーインゴット - Smithing - Copper Ingot
    • 甲冑師:カッパーインゴット - Armorer - Copper Ingot

    この2つに限っては、パッチ1.19で旧レシピからも削除されます。
    ※鍛治師/甲冑師のカッパーインゴットを製作するレシピについては、今後、両クラスでカッパーインゴットを基本的な素材として使用しなくなり、このレシピが残り続けるとバランスが崩れてしまうためです。
    However, above two will be deleted from patch 1.19.
    *Smithing/Armorer will not use copper ingot as a base material and keeping this recipe will break the balance.


    また、「レシピ変更」に記載している、旧レシピの一部レシピはパッチ1.19でレシピが変更されます。
    ※これは記述が足りなかったため、表記を「旧レシピにおけるレシピ変更」に変更させていただきました。
    Also with recipe changes there are some old recipes that will be modified with 1.19 patch.
    *This was lacking description and have been changed to Old Recipes with recipe changes in the list (Dunno if this is same for NA one, might just be for JP info??)

    作ろうと思ってて気になった部分なんですが、
    露糸は、新レシピで1度に3個できるようですが、変更の方を見ると1個になってますね。
    これって、新レシピは1度座って3回分できるって事でしょうか?
    材料も3倍のようですし。。。。
    I was planning to make and was wondering but for "Dew Thread" the new recipe shows it can make 3 with one craft but when looking at the changes it shows as 1.
    Does this mean with new recipe you just need to craft once and it makes 3x? Looks like the material is tripled as well...

    ドロップしなくなるアイテムにプークの翼があるのですが、

    In the list for items that will not drop there is Puk Wing but Ether uses this material.
    Does this mean we can't make Ether anymore?

    That still doesn't mean there won't be sweet spots or spawn patterns anymore. From what we know so far they're just reducing the overall number of different items attained in a given area to just 3 or 4 different items.

    no problem with sweet spots (I never said they're going to be scrapped, I just said they were A PART of the gathering process that I enjoyed) but spawn pattern? The whole purpose of it is that you have to remember wich logging/mining point is yelding what you're looking for, so once you get confident with the area you already know wich point to gather and wich to avoid, where to go when a point is extinguished and how to "control" the spawn of certain points, wich for me was something entertaining while otherwise I was doing something boring and repetitive (it's not like hitting always the same button on the same spot for every tree is fun...).

    If there is only 1 type of logging/mining point there's just no need for that, everytime you see a point in a certain area you already know what you're gonna get and once you're finished with a point you just have to move to the closest one and do the same thing again. IMHO the best solution would have been to make every point yeld 3-4 items (like they will in 1.19) but to but 2-3 different kinds of logging/mining point in the same area so that the whole process is not frustrating (like it kinda is now sometimes ^^') but still entertaining and not boring.
