Only in a purely personal numerical sense. Comparative performance is what matters, and your original post says;

Perhaps I'm reading too much into that, but it sure seems that you're implying that once you are geared up it will be just like 3.1. Except it won't because DPS have moved on too. So sure, if you just want a 4 digit AP you'll get there, but relatively speaking it doesn't matter a jot.

Ok lets rephrase.

Before the patch i had 1045 AP.

Ill be happy when ill get that number again just because i dont want to see stats being reduced no matter if the rest is completely different (more hp, different mobs, people having different gear etc).

Other jobs will have 1200 or more i dont care at all. I will also have more hp myself.

Is there anything to explain again? Im not "implying" anything or i dont know oh my god...
