But that's for the upgrading to i240, isn't it? Also the 8 tokens from last floor for the i245 midas weapons.

No he means that, you get a Midian Gear from Midias Normal for clearing A8 once a week. You then turn those in to get a High-Capacity Tomestone which you will need on top of the 3 weeks of tomes to get an Eikon weapon. After that you need Gobdip from A8S to obtain the i240 variant.
To further clarify, anyone expecting the relic to jump instantly to i240 in 3.25 is insane. You can expect your relics to jump to i225 or i235 at best. Don't expect it to be on par with raid weapons until the tail end of this gear tier. Usually a month before 3.4 if you want to follow the Zodiac's pattern on progression.

Yes, this is also true. I'm expecting i230 or i235. We also know that another update to the questline is coming in 3.3, from Yoshi, so I'm guessing they're going to do two jumps this time, much as they did from Nexus to Zeta (i115 to 125 to 135). The step in 3.3 is probably going to be a massive grind, though. To further clarify, anyone expecting the relic to jump instantly to i240 in 3.25 is insane. Unless I missed something, the actual raid drop weapons are i245. That means i240 is within the realm of the possible. To further clarify, anyone expecting the relic to jump instantly to i240 in 3.25 is insane. Upgraded tomestones weapons will be i240, but that's because those aren't technically raid weapons. The deep gob dip upgrade item will initially be from Alexander Midas Savage, but will be available from the next Void Ark, whatever it may be.
