If this is all going to be about teaching Alphinaud to cast aside his idealism and resign himself to the realities of necessary sacrifice, I will actually burn my Heavensward CE and send the video to Yoshida. Ideals are not the shallow, ignorant things they gets billed as any time writers want to be "edgy." Fortunately, the Moonspeak line is very different, more of a resigned "You stupid kids, haven't you learned that war never changes and won't solve anything?"

So, without further ado, the transcribed Japanese:

The VA change masks some of the casting a bit, but my super-fanboy ears confirm Miyuki Sawashiro (in her much-neglected soprano range) as the speaker of the final line, which means it's said either by or through Minfilia, unlike past encounters with the Mothercrystal.

Also, Raubahn fight... Please let that be an unwinnable duty like we should have got in 2.55, it would be a nice confidence boost for the poor guy... Still waiting on Godbert to add Slot Machines to Gold Saucer and model them on Raubahn lol...

Was there ever anything about Amdapor having Time Magic? Seem to remember something like that, and Lost City seems to be taking us back in time to when it was still pristine... First boss also seems to clone players.

Think I might have my Alexander Four Fiends reference, too... One of the sections seems to have a robot, and it seems to be the long hallway with four platforms... Then the final boss has them joining together... They're even Blue/Green/Red/Yellow for Water/Wind/Fire/Earth... Spiked floors, giant ball of death, moving battlefield, seems they're also making it seem more like the environment is just as much an enemy this time, too. Kind of looking forward to it now.

Gnath dailies seem to have a Gnath teaching the Knights at the Convictory about their Dragon-repel smoke.
    About Raubahn.
It doesnt look to you like a solo instance Nalien?
I really have suspicions that it will be like a test. To see if we are capable of fighting a friend in case it turned to be against us and that there is really no orther way. It doesnt need to be that complicated.

    About Amapoar city's new areas.
It doesnt necesary need to be a travel time thing. It just could be a place where all was perfectly preserved, we know that it exists the magicks to do such a thing.
Also did anyone notice that some structures looks like the Sanctum of the Twelve?

The Sanctum of the 12 was built around the ice age and was a place for succor.

I have always theorized it was proto-Amdapori

As for Raubahn, i think its an aftermath of a fight with Garleans or maybe even some of Ilberds men Though i think its safe to say the Mad Bull returns.

I really dont think so. Its very much confusing. Also we already saw that the reality is much more simple than we think it is.

Im gonna still believe that is some short like a test to see if we are capable of kiling on a friend that have turned against us and there is no orther way. Hypothetically.

I'd like to volunteer for the "not capable" role, if possible. Not letting ourselves be convinced that "there is no other way" is supposed to be one of the things that makes the good guys good. For tests like that, it's just as likely that killing your friend (or trying to) is the failure condition, after all. Best just stick with what you want to believe in and choose who to follow that way.

Make Ilbred as an example. What if there really no orther way to avoid that he kill more inocent people?
Or Nidhogg, what if we dont have another choise than kill him and lost any possible way to save Estenien?

It's one thing to carefully weigh alternatives before deciding on the most expedient course with the least cost, and another entirely to jump straight to the saddest possible option, consoling ourselves with "there's no other way" without ever actually weighing possible outcomes. FF14 has never done the former.

But this is purely academic: we have no idea what context surrounds our "fight" with Raubahn. No one would really shed tears over Ilberd or (pre-Estinienized) Nidhogg, but I think the MSQ will have truly jumped the shark if that gentle giant Raubahn Aldynn, of all people, is somehow magically beyond salvation. As for Estinien, he still has the ability to forfeit his powers as the Azure Dragoon as a way of breaking Nidhogg's control, unless that's yet another lore point we're going to disregard for the sake of having a "tragic cost."

What do you guys think Sephirot's ultimate is? Fiendish Rage? Northern Cross? Or something new altogether.

Fiendish Rage makes the most sense, if a bit of a lame name over two decades later. Seeing Northern Cross and Force Field as regular moves during the fight would definitely activate my nostalgia tho

These patches like using bosses from Final Fantasy IV

    I am okay with this.
