    It's still an easy issue to fix, it should be more or less designed so that the chemist is going out of TP towards the end of the fight if they are DPSing, and even more so if they are DPSing and overhealing. Potencies can always be adjusted, and aren't set in stone.

    I would have loved it if they used guns like FF 10-2 machinists; it was a fairly unique take on the weapons, but at the the same time made lots of sense in the game world.

    But we got machinists :-/

    Well we could always get bigger or more bulky guns, rank em as Medical Guns or such xD

    This is my exact reaction. Chemists were a favorite of mine in FFT and I'd love to see them in FFXIV. I also think a non-magic healing class would be a lot of fun (even if it's just in lore and not gameplay).

    You're right, in that healing doesn't appeal to me at all at this point (leveling CNJ/WHM to get Stoneskin for my PLD was a tribulation in itself) and chances of that changing are pretty slim, but I'd certainly give it a second look with a potential job like Chemist. I guess it does have a little bit more to do with the RP aspect of it and finding a role you're comfortable in, kind of drives the ambition to get better at it gameplay-wise.

    True that RP may be a point and it's true that some people may never touch a healing class regardless of how many they make, however if a class entices people enough they may be willing to try it and may actually enjoy it. Was the cause for Dark Knight I'd wager, may not be a giant increase in Tanks but I'd say an increase is an increase. A non-magic healing class would certainly interest me, which I would kinda assume Dancer could fill that role as well if not a Chemist.

    I was thinking that too, maybe make them not able to stack with eachother, or share a cd or something
