Things currently wrong with frontlines that the community would like to see fixed

As someone who plays multiple classes, I do not think there is an issue with SMN. Sure they have a lot of burst but honestly, I do not think a SMN is "good" if they have like 200k+ damage with 2-4 kills that\\'s just bane spamming. I play with a lot of amazing SMNs that can get over 300k damage with 10+ kills sometimes 15+. A lot of SMNs I see in Primal have high damage with no kills to show. Just pretty much spamming bane. I do think the AoE damage can be toned down but eh. Coming from MCH DRG perspective, these 2 jobs have higher burst than SMN. I have played many games on both of these jobs and a decent amount on SMN and I have to say, SMN burst doesn\\'t compare to DRG burst if the DRG is given an opportunity to do full rotation. Also side note I have beaten MANY SMNs on MCH DRG BLM. So I don\\'t think SMN is overpowered, just some people don\\'t take time to learn their job. >_>

Yea it's possible cause Painflare/LB/Deathflare AoE and also cause the SMNs I play with rarely use bane cause they like their burst more than just using bane. Was mostly referring to the SMNs that all they do it bane spam and end up with like no kills. But SMNs I play with use bane more once they have fever since they get a lot of damage from the increase damage boost and it just helps to chip people down from all the dots.

The thing is, Seize simply favors SMN.

They have a near guarantee of killing ... But that's only once a minute.

In the meanwhile SMNs have their egi they can use to harass (casters)or even kill a low hp opponents. It's surprising how many would focus on killing the egi

Near guarentee but it's hard for them to burst any DoW without high/fever cause they have self heals, they usually need lucky crits if they want to guarentee. As far as the egi harrassing casters, meh, I main BLM and I don't mind if egi is on me, I just thunder it for free procs and eventually either I run out of range and it despawns or the SMN rusn out of range and it despawns. Worst comes to worst just sleep it.
