Not sure if it's worth it for WHM but it was certainly worth it for me
I mean if you have the Alex Savage weapon or the Thordan EX weapon then it's not as big of a deal.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
ill get it eventually id just rather wait til nerfs come n prices drop XD atm trying to focus on gettin other classes to 50 sooo not 100% needed atm lol only pvp on bard while leveling other classes ;/
i tend to avoid raids and ex primals purely because drama in games makes me lose interest and eventually quit so thats the only reason i dont do that content so those weapons arent an option for me til community improves lol
I'm still highly active. As a solo player (not many people respond to my help calls), I spam Duty Finder, so I ALWAYS have something to do. When I'm not in Duty Finder, I am helping folks, even if a wipe fest.3 days ago I renewed my subscription, logged in and started having fun in FFXIV.
I levelled my WAR, did some A2S practice with my raid and had some laughs in chat when we reminded our BRD that his relic is a harp. Our only lament is we haven't cleared Thordan EX yet.
The game is not dying, it's raid scene might be but they'll be back. They always come back. Who else is still enjoying the game?
PS: Too much salt is bad for you.

I'm enjoying myself. Just finished my second Anima weapon for MNK by doing it casually for the past month or so. Might take a break from the game for the next two weeks so I can go into 3.2 with a more fresh outlook.
I'll admit, there are a lot of things that could be better, but I'm still enjoying the game. Otherwise, I wouldn't be subbed right now.
I love the game, I spend most my time in Limsa chatting with friends. Making Battlecraft gear for new players when I see them running around with half field craft stuff on. And got tons of other crafter classes I havnt gotten to 60 yet. FF14 has tons of content, most those Salty players are just number crunching raiders who cant appreciate the other content the game offers.
Such generalisation, very wow.
I'm technically a raider, but I do all kinds of content. I do chocobo racing, play triple triad, craft, gather, collect minions ... and at this point? I'm pretty bored. I spent all my time online yesterday crafting 500 HQ mythril ingots because I just didn't have anything else to do and it's work towards an achievement. I've done an anima weapon and have three anima bases.
The problem comes down to how fast content in this game becomes stale. I do like the Saucer attractions (except LoV which is boring) but I've done them all so many times by now it's hard to keep the excitement level the same. And yes, raiding sucks right now. The joys of being stuck on A3S with no tangible progression for 3 months.
I've noticed that the game is more empty generally lately. Queue times even for tanks on my server aren't so fast anymore, less people running around, less people online in my fc to run stuff with. This long, long season with nothing new to do (anima doesn't count as it was a rehash and the last patch's other content could be finished in maybe an hour excluding the DoA Lord of Verminion) has been very bad for the game, and it worries me. I do love this game, and I'm hoping 3.2 will turn things around because otherwise I think a lot of my friends are going to quit =(
Since it's your opinion, you can call them salty, including myself, much as you want.I love the game, I spend most my time in Limsa chatting with friends. Making Battlecraft gear for new players when I see them running around with half field craft stuff on. And got tons of other crafter classes I havnt gotten to 60 yet. FF14 has tons of content, most those Salty players are just number crunching raiders who cant appreciate the other content the game offers.
I'm not sure you read my own thread or not on this forum, but I'm pretty sure I'm one of those ''salty'' people you talk about. Which is indeed fine. I do appreciate what they do, keep in mind.I will leave a quote I read earlier and I'm 99% sure this is true, because I did read this somewhere as well few months ago:
Calling people salty, because they disagree with you, or you don't like what certain players think about the game currently is, is all on you. I would NEVER tell a person to quit the game or just leave because I think the game isn't where it's supose to be at. This would only come from a person who sees players leave, then call them salty. I love the community, I love my fc, linkshell and friends, but that's not enough for me to sub extra 2 months, because all I will do is socialize. Yes i've done most of the stuff already as well. Wish you good luck in gameSince SE has no intention of making content last long, the way to play is to sub in the first month of patch then unsub until the next major patch. Any subscription time after that is to socialise.
I remember that in an interview, the question of playing other (online) games when there was nothing to do was brought up and Yoshi was asked for his opinion. He basically said yeah go do it.
This is their business model.![]()

I'm enjoying the game immensely. In no hurry to get to endgame, or anything else, just playing a character in a beautiful world at my own pace. There is so much to see and do!
I'm rather new to this game, so i don't get much say in this, but since i come from other MMORPG's (SWTOR recently and WoW before that) i can say a few things.
This game has A LOT to do and is more engaging and creative in getting you interested in doing it. Crafting is fun and rewarding, it feels like part of the world. Trying/leveling other classes is so refreshing, you can just switch your weapon and you're done, no need to logout and create a new char, do the same story all over again, you can just do everything in 1 char, that is nice and different. There's also tons of fun mini-games and little things to do.
Doing all these at once, so i don't get saturated from anything, has kept me at a slow pace in the game, enjoying the content for a while, having the other mmorpgs for a lesson, this feels like the best way to do things, i'll enjoy this game for a long time.

This game is my first mmo and i would never think about switching to another, (or maybe in many years) and i have so many stuff to do, , gotta level up all my classes, do my 2nd relic, improve my raiding skills and play/help friends with stuff, tryout gold saucer and learn to play my offspecs etc etc
i really enjoy the game despite 3.1 was lil poor for me but i'm quite excited to see 3.2 and i love this game !
