Neither can you. The difference between us is the fact I don't use that grey area to paint him as the bad guy. You're using what you don't know to do just that.

The rest of the convo was less than tasteful on both sides, but this is where it all started in that picture: him being attacked for asking two questions, and answering one directly.

Depends on how you worded it. "hello" "is anyone there" is clearly a frustrated question. If he simply asked if BLM was a bot, or asked the party, that would be different.

Then aren't you doing the same to the BLM? The BLM asked TC if he was trying to tell a DPS how to DPS. How does that question make the BLM the bad guy, then? TC's answer was to shove the fact that he has lvl 60 BLM in his face and came off like an elitist. That's where it escalated. And then they both ended up looking like jerks. The first point in the TC's log that I would consider rude was "Shut up". Everything before it I read as a conversation.
"Hello" - fine,
"Is anyone there" Checking in because no response,
"is this a bot" - ok conclusion considering lack of response and skillset being used (that said it was rather rapid, all being within the same minute),
"yeah",
"why are you not using enochian" fair question
"wanna tell a dps how to dps" answering a question with a question, but fair enough
"yes" answers the question
"because I have a blm to 60" provides reasoning
"do me a favor" ...?
"shut up" First comment which -tone free- can objectively be considered rude.

I'm not really debunking who was the jerk first. Only that that they were both jerks. BLM was rude first. TC was asking stupid rhetorical questions instead of just asking a simple one like why the BLM was not using an ability. It all happened very fast. Why didn't the TC just ask in the first place? Why wait and then ask a bunch of silly questions. My first thought when a White mage doesn't use heal me soon enough, is not "Are you a bot?"

Get what facts straight? You just repeated what I said. Also, I think it's neat that you keep trying to dismiss my assumptions by using your own. Either way, I don't really care I guess. TC approached the situation wrong, got the BLM to lash out, and then both turned into jerks leading the TC to get kicked and post it on the forums.

Third. I corrected you again. It didn't escalate when the OP said he had a lvl60 BLM. It escalated when he was told to shut up in response by the very person who asked him the question in the first place in the most snide manner:

"shut up".

I'm not making assumptions. I use what's written in the chat log to make my point. You constantly refer to things that we can't see or prove from that chat log such as a rhetorical question, and tones that may or may not be there, or intended. That's why I dismiss yours.

What are you saying? We're using the same chat log. TC is asking the BLM if she's a bot. That's rude. You're saying that's an assumption by me. Well, you not thinking it's rude is also an assumption. Why did TC not just ask why the BLM wasn't using it's ability? Why did he ask a bunch of stupid questions first? The BLM got offended by it regardless of whether is was meant to offend or not.
