Now you are going to the opposite extreme. There is a huge HUGE difference between someone doing their 2.0 rotation correctly and someone who only spams one skill.Just because you don't need to do something doesn't mean you shouldn't do it.
A tank can just spam flash and nothing else. Should they do it? No of course not they should help kill things.
A dragoon could just do heavy thrust and nothing else and clear a dungeon. Should they do it? No.
It not only makes the run take longer than it should but you are also slowing down 3-7 other people because you simply refuse to learn a new rotation. Im sorry but that is 100% rude in anyway no matter how someone tries to defend it.
There are tell-tale signs of botting. I'm willing to bet it was obvious the BLM was not a bot simply because they didn't use one skill. TC obvious cherry picked a small screenshot out of a whole dungeon. Wonder what the entire dungeon looked like. Either way, TC acted like an ass, and got treated like oneThat's on the OP himself to answer. Everyon perceives it differently because there are bots in DF, and people more often than not, do not use party chat to communicate at all. I'd personally do a bot check if I'm genuinely concerned if one of my party member is a bot or not based on their actions.
Within the first two questions he asked that got him targeted? That's only what you'd like to believe.
Oh so you don't know for sure?
Stop adding tone and context that you can't even prove was there please.

I read the conversation in a vastly different way than you did. There are tell-tale signs of botting. I'm willing to bet it was obvious the BLM was not a bot simply because they didn't use one skill. TC obvious cherry picked a small screenshot out of a whole dungeon. Wonder what the entire dungeon looked like. Either way, TC acted like an ass, and got treated like one
From what I can tell on context, they had just received loot and presumably have had 0 chat thus far. BLM is not using Enochian, so not using Blizz4/Fire IV, and could presumably be using just Fire I and blizzard for MP. It is quite possible that they are a bot.
Even if you read it otherwise, I would read it more as a joke. "Hello? Is anyone there? Is this thing on?" due to the dead silence up to that point. I wouldn't take that as any sort of offense. The explosion that occurred afterward is not at all on the same level as the original message.

Don't really have to, when I can just look at the time stamps and the rest of the conversation to know the "tone". His sarcastic "hello, is anyone there" all at the same time is enough to know he's not looking for an actual answer to that question. And then right after the BLM answers with a smiley, he immediately goes into it. If you can't see that, you're really dense. You're right, I don't know for sure. But neither do you, but you're desperately trying to defend TC being a jerk all the same.-
You're adding context that's absent, but unproven, and adding tone that doesn't exist in text. You're drawing too many assumptions on how the OP asked his first 2 questions, and what he implied in doing so. How do you actually know any of this from going off that picture alone?
lol it's clear you don't know how to read my comments.
My point in this thread is that no matter what input you are trying to give, 95% will just don't care and not even pay attention to your comments, in chat or even on the forums, as the community here is so slim comparing to those not on the forums. They will still continue to behave poorly, with skills, mechanics, and even trolling if they feel you just harassed them with your comments.
That is far from what me and my BF are doing, which is like most people here, I hope; trying our best with what we have at hand (skills) depending on the job we choose.![]()
eh, asking why they are not using enochian is no different than asking why a PLD is not using Shield Oath.
That's a bit better.
He starts off with passive aggression by asking the BLM he's a bot. Sorry but that's a bad start then and there. So jerk remark would obviously get a jerk response. Argument starts. He gets kicked out of the party.
Tank may have been a bit too hostile, but it could have been easily avoided had he either just approached it a bit differently or better yet just got on with it and finished the dungeon. Some players aren't that great at their job, that's duty finder. He basically shoots himself in the foot and screws himself over by wasting more time to queue for another dungeon. That's why I said it's not very particularly smart what he did. Personally I'd have just got on with it just to get it out of the way.
