FF13 event items to be added to Mogstation

Man, wouldn't it be cool if they just switched on a random event each weekend, to let you play through various FATEs that relate to other FF games and get unique rewards?

Nah, just mogstation everything. It's what you asked for. You all aren't paying enough money. Just drop your wallet on the ground and no funny business.

FFXIII, FFXI Shantotto, FFXI Iroha, DragonQuest... if they'd added a few more to that, they could have gotten a nice little rotation going. Maybe add new rewards every few cycles, such as weapons for new classes, new hats, new minions.

It might have to do with the fact that you can't glamour 1H weapons like the Mogwand and whatever the WHM wand is to 2H weapons (or vice versa). It would certainly suck if someone bought the BLM/WHM weapons and realized a few bucks later that they were basically useless as glamour items. It would be nice if a fix for that was incoming in 3.2.

This is not just a XIV problem, this is a problem in all of gaming in general. People have been conditioned to accept this. So you pay $14.99 a month and they buy extra stuff from mog station not really any different then someone buying a $60 game then spending another $20-50 on DLC to add to or complete their game experience.

These are exactly the kind of items that would simply give people something to do -and- boost Golden Saucer participation through adding special MGP vendors that sell the items. For example, adding a Battle Arena section to the Saucer that unlocks MGP dailies/roulettes for older content which award bonus MGP needed to trade in for items. If this is unreasonable against tossing the CT gear on ventures as quick exploration returns (gotta buy dem $2 retainers!) or leaving the event items on mogstation alone, then congratulations on doing your part to tank the game. After all, why produce content if everyone will just buy it all on mogstation?

Seriously, if every forum suggestion about adding items to Gold Saucer came true I'd never be able to grind enough MGP to catch up.

So you could also just pick the ones you want?

That's like me saying that if all the forum suggestions were put into the cash shop I wouldn't be able to obtain all the content for a reasonable real life cost.

My suggestion at least is putting the content into the game, not keeping it out.

It is simple to fix.
The devs just have to bring shields for WHM and BLM again (maybe also shield skills as special equip skill that can be equipped if wearing the shield).

Hallelujah. If there's one thing that I'm sick of hearing about more than anything else, is all the countless threads whining about these items. It truly is a Merry Christmas to those of us over the topic!!!

Woah Now! let's not forget that with this will come the threads asking for the rest of the outfits like fang vanille serah etc...Oh and requests for new job weapons like a drk caius ballad chaos sword and so on...
