That makes no sense. Why would you run away when you have prey? Panic is the biggest contribution to DPS loss.It was before first jump. Let's say I didn't trust our second healer and runned away for the prey and just waited away from the party with second wind and foresight on hand XD
The saddest part is that I was top, most of the tries. This one I got topped by smn, tho.
Once we get our definitive party and proggress is being made and a strat in common the numbers should rise out of coordination and less chaos in the battlefield. I hope so.

BLM, SMN, SCH and I were premade and I know they are capable. We were there just to soak mechanics into our brains and see what we can and can't do.
I'm that kind of player that doesn't trust randoms and is better safe than sorry. Once we get our group going, I know I can relay on all of my mates.
A better way to deal with Prey instead of running away is to activate Keen Flurry and Blood Bath. You will alleviate the healer stress a LOT. The Hydrothermal Missile mechanic in A1 (normal AND savage) is a single-target attack that hits multiple times in succession. That's it. It's a strict healer mechanic. If you want to help the healers, just use Keen Flurry, Foresight, Bloodbath, and/or Second Wind, but almost never ever should any of these skills cause you to delay an offensive cd. It does 0 splash damage. You should never not be attacking something in A1S. If at any time your GCD stops spinning and the boss is not in the air, you're handling something wrong and can optimize your rotation further.
I'll add that, at i209 with NIN who's on the 0.5 with me on main Opp, I'm generally 1500+ going into first jump, with food, but without potions. 1000 is honestly quite significantly low, especially for you gear. My first kill in i180-190 gear was 3 jumps at 999 dps.
