I'm surprised alot of people don't use reclaim. I for 1 have very poor luck at times with hasty touches(80%) failing 3+ times in a row. 2 star mats are too expensive to waste. Idk maybe I need to get more gil so the loses won't hurt as much.

With the rotation I use I have to fail 5+ hasty touches in order to even consider reclaiming. Which happens very infrequently. I've only had one NQ two star item over the last four months which would have benefited from reclaim. SO that makes it hard to justify being on the bar.

That's pretty good but I can't say my luck is that good with touches or percentages for hq. I get quite a number of crafts in which there'll be 4-6 misses. What I've noticed though is that these crafts often also coincide with an abnormally high number of good procs. My basic rule of thumb is that if you're missing like crazy, you should spend your cp on durability restores instead of basic or precise touch. It's sometimes possible to completely absorb 4 or 5 misses and still end up with 11 stacks of inner quiet.
That said, I always equip reclaim on final crafts as a precaution anyways since your starting quality is really high. Skills like waste not 2 and even careful synthesis 2 are not essential.
