To all SMN's who are complaining about losing dreadwyrm stacks in between pulls, here is the solution:
Use 3 stacks per pull. :3
EDIT: This topic was kinda the last straw, so I made this

Lol, I too have experienced this. Usually I wait till the Tank has enough hate (attacked the mobs and used AoE) but sometimes I react a bit to fast. I never complain when tank loses hate though, I know I may have been a bit overzealous with my DPS increasing ways. Bard is awesome class and I want to have more DPS!!! So I do this and that and add that oh look another crit adder *puts it in* anyway ye... lol. Also like AskaRay, if I get hate I stop using my skills and run to tank so they can get hate back and take a small pause before I attack again. (all the while keeping an eye on MP/TP need if anyone falls below 50%)

One of the reasons I love Shadewalker so I CAN be "that DPS".
I admit I have giggled when double Flare critted both times and I had a rush of all the mobs after me.
A single Flare crit makes you orange, every time. A double Flare crit is not something you can control, but is hilarious when it happens.
Even though everyone dies.
Also I know it's only funny to me :P
If I run with a good tank, then I turn it into a game to see if I can pull hate (I'll give it back). But then I end up with "that tank" where I just ignore all my buffs and turn my rotation into 1.....1/2......1/2/3.......1/2/3.......1/2/3 in order to keep from becoming the MT.
Yeah, I hate that. I'm a PLD, so I only have Flash and Scorn, and Scorn being a CD makes it tough sometimes, only to then be flagged as a bad tank. You know the one I'm talking about.
Pre-charge all your cooldowns before the pull and start casting your biggest AoE right as the tank starts running toward the group.
I (as PLD) usually get a shield lob off and, before one GCD has cycled, every mob I didn't touch is now making a bee line for the DPS. Then I get to hear all the complaining about me not holding hate.
This isn't a progression raid, it's DF.
Give it 3 seconds before you go ape sh*t on everything.
Sincerely,
someone who just wants to level a tank job.
I had a NIN use B4B, Kassatsu + Raiton as I was running towards the Oppressor. Jeez, at least use Shadewalker first.

Can I request some tanks to step up too?
Most the Tank playerbase do good or great but sometimes... let's say the only thing I use while the tank is pulling is Battle Litany and that I stole the aggro from Chinese Ravana (the one in Fractal) with my first Heavy Thrust, I tanked the whole fight after trying to give the aggro back with Elusive Jump, he was better geared than me atm.
Else, good job, guys. And die more often in primals so I can haz the spotlight for a short while e.e
The bigger problem I have from "that Dps" is when bad Dps arbitrarily decide that the Tank is not doing their job well enough, then they try to "help" them along but actually make things much worse. A common example of this is when Dps run off on their own to grab more mobs for the Tank because they think he/she is not pulling big enough. Newsflash! If your Dps sucks, pulling bigger mobs is not going to help. It only makes things harder for the healer and Tank, because the healer is spending more Mp per pull, and the Tank has to blow more CD's instead of timing them for the next pull.
A lot of Dps don't seem to get that Tanks (that is, 'good' tanks) have a reason for pulling in sections. They're planning their CD's multiple pulls in advance and they're judging how big that pull should be based on how fast or slow the Dps is. They also tend to keep an eye on the healer's Mp. If it's running low, then it's not a good idea to pull more. Dps, on the other hand, ignore this and be like, "why you so slow!?" Then they go pull stuff on their own. Better yet, often these same Dps refuse to work together, focusing down different mobs at a much slower rate thank killing the same one together. The tank is then forced to split their enmity and dps to compensate, reducing Dps even further. Then they ask why you're not pulling more. Gee ... I wonder.
I never care if the Tanks loses aggro to me, in fact, I feel really bad about doing it since I assume responsibility for being inattentive about my threat level. Albeit, whenever I lose aggro as a tank then I feel like I am failing hard for not paying enough attention either.
But um.... I'll never in a thousand years understand why people actual enjoy doing such a thing. Either there is an iLevel discrepancy, the Tank wasn't paying enough attention or they're inexperienced. What about any of those three options gives anyone a sense of satisfaction? ; If anything, I worry that I am annoying the tank.
I almost never experienced this, but I used to find it quite obnoxious, yes. Cooldown planning aside, it could be a simple fact that the Tank is not comfortable with larger pulls, in which case sit the hell down and give them a damn break. The bigger problem I have from "that Dps" is when bad Dps arbitrarily decide that the Tank is not doing their job well enough, then they try to "help" them along but actually make things much worse.
