100k gil item from NPC + 200k gil item from crafters was it, if you thought crafters were not involved in that step

I knew they were involved, I was just referring to the 100k gil items you buy from NPCS with fixated prices which is actually reasonable cause everyones going through the same thing. The market items went through the same crap it did that time as it is now. I even didn't mind the 80000 seals grind in comparison.

There was alot of ways they could have done this step and it just fell flat for most of the community. Yoshi said he was worried about adding challenging content because there would be some people who can't complete it. Well he added extremely costly content that some people have no idea how to fund. I simply refuse to do it the way it is even having the funds to do it, period. If it never gets nerfed, then so be it. I've got other things I'd rather be putting that much effort and gil into.

The prices of items for relict are always overpriced. Ask one of your FC members or a nice guy and bring him the materials for the item. Even if all materials are HQ you save at least 50% compared to the market price. And the items are not really hard to craft.

i150 gear is lvl60 starting gear for crafting - you use it to eventually get the 170/180 gear... And the 1 star level crafting doesn't need much at all - no red scrips, 320 blue scrips to get the book. By high level crafting I am refering to 2 star and higher crafting. That needs red scrip and blue scrip grind and other such nonsense.

If you were refering to high level as meaning lvl60 then... err for me that's base level crafting... you want that to actually do much of anything down the line.

Thus making you a "Master Crafter" since you can make not only star but multi star items. High Level is simply lvl 60 until the cap is raised again. Star crafts (called master crafts in game) can only be done by Master Craftsmen. All the relic crafts are multi-stat crafts.

Why would anyone buy the items outright?? If you cant gather or craft at least just buy the mats and get someone to craft them for you, you'll save a TON of gil.

I mean, I could also take a brick and smash it into my head a few times, but I'd rather not and just spend the gil.

Cost me 3.8m on Behemoth. Made the full amount back in less than 5 days so not a big loss.

Once the market value does down instead of the 6mil you would of had you only made 3 once the new weapons roll out and they don't update anima weapons again you spent how much on that just so its a high priced glamour. My cousin read this and said people used to say the same thing in FFXI but hows that 20million scorpion harness +1 oh that's right its only 200k now.

There is no content that requires you to have 210 weapons and so you spent that much on few extra damage even though everything is easy to walk over.

By the time the weapon becomes relevant its gonna be obsolete and sure you say its not a loss but I much rather have that 3 mil plus the 3 made instead of blowing it all on something that gives a tiny bit of damage.

SH+1 In FFXI lasted YEARS and YEARS. All gear became obsolete in Abyssea.
Anima weapon WILL have more stages, so I don't know where you're getting the idea that next waves of weapons will have zero inclusion of next tier relics.

Cousin just said na because it was easier to get the material after a few updates the price was flying down maybe in your server probably though in our server we spammed bcnm non stop Bismarck, also I'll believe it when I see it last time we were told we were getting more updates on those weapons they gave us a whole different weapon instead of setting our own stats.

I havent played ffxi much but he has since 2004 - 2013 so I have no clue what he is talking about.

From Malboro here. I could craft and gather the items myself but decided to be lazy and just buy them from the MB. Farm for the Gil sell lala's, rent yourself in Uldah, level retainers and sell items they bring.... There are PLENTY of ways to get these items if you can't afford them you probably shouldn't buy them at this point. I still need 14 items to finish my relic and I pretty much do beast quests. If you don't like the relic quest ... You could always create an AS static and see how that goes
