Anima Weapon Gil Cost

On siren the crafted portion comes just shy of 8m gil. While personally I can afford it I'm not sure I want to fork over that kind of gil for +2 weapon damage.

People insisted that the prices were gonna drop by the time the grind was over but at least on NA servers it has stabilized at some pretty ridiculous prices.

How are people dealing with this? Just biting the bullet? Sucking up to crafters and hoping they're feeling charitable?

8 million?? Ok I am giving up on Relic. Yeeeeep, relic. Definitely not in my budget. All the things we have to farm is already a burden.

Fortunately the prices are much cheaper on Balmung. It's about 2 mil for us (give or take). That's one of the benefits of being on a populated server. More people means more competition, therefore prices tend to be lower. However, the people out there on lower pop servers are going to have a hard time. That's why I think it's bad design to include something like this in the relic quest.

Even though my realm is relatively dead, I still have connections with people who have specialization in other crafts; in my FC, in my linkshell, and even friend list if it comes to a "scratch my back scratch yours".

If you had everything planned out, you only need 2 other crafters to fill in the specializations, that what me and my static had planned on long before 3.0 was released, when they had announced specialist crafting (without the details mind you, my impression was that they were able to succeed in HQing their respective craft much much more reliably than non-specialists so from my perspective, it was still a good idea to cover all the ground).

Of course, the prices will vary. The hardest part isn't the materials, it's finding a crafter, especially on a dead server like mine.

ignoring that the anima weapon exist , it will be nerfed later on , maybe even remove or lower the crafting mats, the question is do you really need that weapon?

maybe by 3.2 the new trial drops 210 , or the item to upgrade eso weapon is avaliable to exchange for the Void ark item .... no1 knows but thordan is dropping 205 weapons now ...if the next trial doesnt drop 210 (215 even?) weapons...it will be weird.

Prices dropped pretty significantly on Diabolos from where they were at launch. It's about 6-6.5 million total now if you buy all the items outright, from a quick look at the MB. It was closer to 8 million when I finished mine a week ago.

Like I said I have the gil for it I just don't think the cost is justified. I've been tracking the prices for a week now and they haven't budged much on Siren. Some of the things have actually gone up in prices as of the past two days. It's gonna suck for people who haven't actively been saving gil.

Alternately make friends with some crafters and see what you can arrange with them. The folks in my FC who can craft the needed items are typically doing so for free for friends/other FC members, assuming the materials are on hand, of course. Buying these items on the MB is a viable solo approach as long as you have gil. Otherwise you have to do what you re meant to do in an MMORPG - main friends and work together.

It is outrageous I personally think. With the amount of grind it requires it is obvious not everyone will get every relic. Those money price are unfair for people who started with Heavenwards. Even if it gets nerfed later on. At this rate I just feel like not doing it which makes me sad! I was all happy to finally buy my room in the FC house, I have no idea how I will do to afford this.

Even if I pay for this, they're going to go with the same routine again for the future relic weapons.
