Just something i've noticed since being on the forums. Makes you think.
This 'advice' is BS and anyone who comes up with 'Want that thing then go fantasia hurr durr' is an asshat and is not in any way contributing to the discussion
I see many ppl - with f and m chars - saying to drop the gender restrictions but I guess those negative coments are so mindless, they stick out the most >_<

Lol as always? My fantasia comment began when people keep saying go fantasia if you want bunny ears. But who cares, I put bunny ears problem aside for now because of reindeer horn
Okay, I give it to you 'as always' is an exeggartion I did see many salt comments, though they were surely in other threads ^^

Theoretically yes. Practically I highly doubt it.
I don't see our diversity when the females all do the same stuff and the males all do the same things. Mix and match is what I have in mind.
I just see no point and reason to not let that dude over there do what that gal can and vice versa.
Some arguments are the dance is based off a rl tradition but also irl nothing is stopping me from dancing the male haka anyway (and do other stuff that is considered 'manly')

Oh I would totally agree and again not saying you are doing this, just something that I found odd.

I personally have no problem with either males/females getting glamour items/emotes.

Yeah I don't look as intense as males when doing the dance, but that's just how it is. I'm not going to throw a fit trying to impose one cultures idea of political correctness onto another. That's just really really wrong.

Considering we learn it from the Vanu, I'm guessing we learn how the Vanu do it, and respect their cultural differences in their dance.

Think it'd be pretty disrespectful to the Vanu, whom we learn it from, by picketing in Sea of Clouds asking for gender homogenization.

Pffth. I'm a girl, that plays a girl. I don't like the dance, but I'm not bitching at SE to change it. It's based on the realistic tradition. Really, this whining and bitching is almost as silly as men not being able to wear female glamours. I can understand the logic. (Cross dress, drag queens, etc, so I find their concern to be valid.)

The dance isn't just a dance, it's the dance of a warrior, which was generally men back in the day. It makes them look intimidating, etc.

Just shut up with this topic already. Whiners about this dance are almost as bad as the "we want more Lightning events" people before the cash shop announcement.

Do the quests at least for the exp (and the mount).
around 100k exp each quest on a lv 59 job once maxed the rank to the vanus.

Also, the dance is free, don't cost you anything to learn it and don't have to use it outside of the quests.

I'll pass on them. If I want to level I'd just run dungeons again, and it'd just be adding more grinds along with more grinds. I really don't like the mount either, its too big for my interests with its tall stance, not to mention it looks awkward to use in PvP. I'd rather ride a miniature Bismarck really. :/

    ... Wow, that's pretty awful.
Like seriously, the actual haka and the way the female vanu do it looks great, but the way it was translated into the player character's movement is just garbage. They took out all the force and range of motion. They don't have to be the same, they just did a bad job on one. Lazy.

And before you say it, I don't have to shut up about it, and you'll have an easier time moving a mountain than getting me to do so! Your air ain't worth more than mine, sit down with that self-important nonsense.

Also what's wrong with cross dressing? A dress is just a dress and given the options we have u can't be a drag queen in this game even if u tried
I'll never get ppl who call asking, reuesting and giving feedback as whinning and btiching - if you are all so annoyed bc of the threads how about you just don't read them??
Telling ppl to stop whinning and bitching surely wont stop anyone from making the threads so u can all aswell just cut it
