With as late into the patch cycle as it is, we're all over geared, we've all run the exact same dungeons over and over and over and over ad nauseun, and we all know what to expect. Where is the issue?

Dungeons are the easiest content in the game. Even with STR tanks, dungeon mobs tickle. They're all mostly sitting at i209 and don't need to be babysat. How hard is it to throw out some dots in content we run every day?

I understand only healing while you're learning content. I'll never gripe about that. But no one is learning the same 2 dungeons they run everyday anymore.

Don't let your dreams be dreams. Just do it.

I don't expect healers to dps but I appreciate it. A healer that helps speed up runs by dpsing earns commendations from me.

Being able to deal good dps without letting the tank come close to death is the sign of a great healer.

Because its OPTIONAL for healers and tanks to throw down the deeps. If the dps in the group are 200+ then the adds will melt either way. However if the dps simply suck well then you have more issues than a healer not throwing dps. Just saying

Excuse me it is not being lazy. I took healer to heal not DPS. If I wanted to DPS I would play a DPS class. If I keep everyone alive then I am doing my job.

Do you also expect the DPS to throw heals too? If no then why do you expect healers to DPS?

You mean you took a healer to be a bad here so you could be lazy and AFK while all the over geared players execute mechanics and kill mobs so fast they don't need heals.

But how do you stay awake? Standing around diddling myself waiting for damage to happen inflicts me with severe narcolepsy. I'd rather slide down a banister of razor blades and land in a pool of salt and rubbing alcohol. Just saying.

That and I've observed a thread like this every 1-2 weeks, and none of them ever really end. This one just happened to be in General section instead of Healer subforum.

I would like to mention something else I've observed even though I'm a rather recent arrival to these forums. I find that the healer community here is the quickest to rip on their party members if they underperform, but threads like these show that some healers get super defensive when they're the ones being called out instead. We literally have a thread in healer section called 'Healing Horror Stories', while the only things similar I could find in the other two sections were ones where people playing those classes admitted their own mistakes.

UMMM no. It is OPTIONAL for healers and tanks to throw down the deeps. Do you pay for the other player's accounts? No you don't. So who gave you sole authority over other players play styles? Last time I checked the devs created this game with the Holy Trinity in mind (Tank, Healer and DPS). DPS are built for the sole purpose of dealing DAMAGE. Tanks are built to take an avalanche to the face and the Healers are built to heal that tank who took an avalanche to the face. The main reason healers have Dps skills is so they can do SOLO content or help in RARE occasions that call for deeps and running dungeons is not one of those rare occasions where HEALERS have to throw down deeps.

A healer who chooses to only heal is not lazy they chose that job for the sole purpose of healing. I prefer all jobs and most of battle classes at 60. WHY? Because if I want to heal that what I'll do and If want to tank then I can do that too.

There are plenty of guides out there for them to take it upon themselves to learn about their job. You really shouldn't expect someone else to spoon feed you.

No, but you only learn so much from a guide. You have to do. Added to that, every tank plays differently between how and when they use cooldowns and what balance of accessories they wear. People need to be more patient.
