They can't kill shit if the tank don't do his job by mitigating the incoming damage. Too many incoming damage = healer has to heal more. No tank stance = the tank won't be able to hold the enmity in which the mobs will head to either healer or the DPSs. Combined the 2 together you will have either dead DPSs or healer which would result in the wipe of the party. Which would also result in the more delay of completing the dungeon than the healer not dpsing.

You want to completing the dungeon fast in the first place by wanting the healer to dps as well. But by doing this thing, the time of completing the dungeon is even longer? That's the point.

Could you qualify these assertions you made? Eidolon explains where you are wrong quite well.

I really am confused as to how you think gathering up the biggest groups of mobs will make the dungeon longer. Not even with single target dps would it make it longer in any meaningful way, since tanks have AOE attacks.

Yes I know you can dance stance as a tank, I saw my friend doing it all the time. But do you think this Dario is going to do that judging from his quote? Gathering every mobs could result in the fast clear IF everybody are doing their job. But the scenario is that the tank won't do his job, it would result in the longer run no?

He never said it. And yes i do assume he will still doing his job as a tank while dps, as many of the tank would have do if the healer won't dps :P

I honestly would do larger pulls if healer insist to only heal and I would stay in the tank stance. I stay in tank stance until there is 2-3 mobs left and switch over to the dps stance. But from what I could understand on the guy who I agreed on, he would probably be in tank stance too and migate damage much as he could.
Many months ago, I was going as WAR in always reap and we had a NIN and DRG, healer was WHM. We did the dungeon in 12 min, while I could be in other peoples random duty finder or people I dont know, having double casters and still kill slower, so I don't really understand your statement but I'm sticking to what I said. I would pull alot more if the healer insisted not dpsing and migate much as possible to make the healing even easier. And what is that going to do with DPS? They give a rats ass how much is pulled because their job is to dps.
