If the healer only wants to heal, then that's what they'll get. The dps should stand in the red telegraphs. If they don't want to help make the dps jobs easier, we shouldn't do the same for them.

That's a good way to lose a healer mid dungeon. So instead of the run taking 3 minutes longer you end up with a wasted 30 minutes. DPS sure wins out there.
Sounds like a good trade to me. I'd rather loose a crappy healer and wait for a replacement than deal with their laziness. Fair turn is fair.
I don't know about your experiences but mine have been usually 15 to 20 min wait times for replacement healers. A lot don't bother with ticking that 'Join Party In Progress' button.
That's a lot of standing around doing nothing waiting for a healer that might dps.
Fair doesn't really come into it. Healers are a rarer commodity with shorter queue times. You'd be inconveniencing yourself a lot to inconvenience a healer a little.
Tanks are a lot harder to replace than a healer, you also can ask your FC if anyone can queue for "join in progress".I don't know about your experiences but mine have been usually 15 to 20 min wait times for replacement healers. A lot don't bother with ticking that 'Join Party In Progress' button.

For me, Replacement healers are there within 5 minutes or so. If they leave on their own, they are stuck with a 30 minute penalty. Don't know about you, but that's not a little inconvenience. Maybe if that keeps happening they'll learn to actually play their job to it's full extent or get so frustrated and quit. Either way, hard lesson learned for them.I don't know about your experiences but mine have been usually 15 to 20 min wait times for replacement healers. Wouldn't a better strategy be to ask them if they're comfortable DPSing and if not.. just dropping it? I get kicking if they get hostile about it but.. seriously?
No one is going to learn to play their class better without suggestions from other players ( be it through guides, duties, or mentorships from friends in game ). No one is going to be able to read your mind. When you stand in that telegraph im sure the healer just thinks you're bad :/ not the other way around.
There are plenty of guides out there for them to take it upon themselves to learn about their job. You really shouldn't expect someone else to spoon feed you.Wouldn't a better strategy be to ask them if they're comfortable DPSing and if not.. just dropping it? No, but you only learn so much from a guide. You have to do. Added to that, every tank plays differently between how and when they use cooldowns and what balance of accessories they wear. People need to be more patient.
You're DPS...you don't have a job. Tanks and healers do the DPS so you don't have to...that's how this game works now.
