Why cant we queue to golden saucer attractions from anywhere?

As the title says, is there a reason why we have to queue up for Chocobo Racing or Lords of Verminion within the Saucer?

For me atleast, this is the main reason I dont do these minigames more often, which is a shame because I really like these minigames

Cause this would make the gold saucer pointless as much of the game already is, cause everyone just stands around in one place and uses DF for everything.
