Good to hear. I think the joke is on the people who purchased land for instant resell because I suspect in two weeks more lot will open up. Many people logged in for a new patch then quit a week or two after. Some people may really be so bad to buy and sell the house at once. But not everybody, who is now selling, is one these guys. Look at me and my husband for example. We already had a small house for some months, i am the ownder atm. Yesterday we had luck and were able to buy a middle house, my husband is the owner now. Bud we dont want to block 2 houses, because we know how many player and FCs are still searching for a house, so we will sell our small house and live in the middle one together. When I gonna open a thread in the party finder now, it will look like i was a grabber, making my money at the cost of others ^^
Got an FC house, ok
Got a personal house too, OK
Want to buy another house to resell on because you're a selfish greedy sod? Get stuffed.
SE Devs badly need to lock this rubbish down! 1 Personal house per account.
Yea I agree, further more they need to limit to one purchase through an FC. Shouldn't have multiple members under an FC banner purchase multiple lots.
I'm sorry, I think I've misunderstood. Are you saying multiple FC's that claim to be affiliated with one another(like <EVIL> on Zalera) shouldn't be able to own multiple houses, or that every member of one FC shouldn't have personal plots? I don't want to jump to conclusions, so please clarify
I think each account should be allowed one house per server, and any alts on that server should be able to share the first house. I think it's unfair that people can make a dummy fc full of alts in order to easily move gil between them and then buy up multiple plots on the same server just to sell them back or use all of them for gardening. The fault mostly lies with SE, but it's partially with those players greedy and spiteful enough to intentionally keep players from housing unless they pay those ridiculous prices. It's extortion.
No, basically we have a FC that gave multiple permissions to it's members buy a house, meaning one FC has 6 house under the <????> banner. Yes, it was purchased by different people but all belong to one FC.I'm sorry, I think I've misunderstood. Are you saying multiple FC's that claim to be affiliated with one another(like <EVIL> on Zalera) shouldn't be able to own multiple houses, or that every member of one FC shouldn't have personal plots? FCs are only allowed one house. You can't have multiple members of the FC buy multiple houses for the FC. Any number of FCs can have the same tag, though. So they are actually multiple affiliated FCs. The system you were suggesting is already in effect.
Yea sorry, I had to double check. They made 6 different FCs to own six different houses. Underhanded IMO but legal. Thankfully my server isn't hurting for houses at the moment.

I think there is a slight difference between forcing people to choose between not dying or bankrupcy, and buying a virtual house in a pretend economy, but nice hyperbole. People can live without a pretend house, and still enjoy the game. SE is fixing this by adding more housing and apartments in the future. The system is there for players to sell houses for as much as players are willing to buy them for (this is the price of vanity, not the price of your own life, so your comparison is moot), if players think its unfair that people are charging so much, then maybe stop buying the houses for those prices. Compare it to the diamond industry in terms of ripping people off, or apple and other brands selling their products at an extreme price compared to competitors just because money, not that CEO that may have cost people their lives because of profit.I can blame SE for the housing bug that prevents plots from unlocking. This guy is just talking about pure greed...
Lol.. karma is a mofo tho.. just look at what happened to that pharmaceutical CEO.. who jacked up the price on those HIV treatment pills.. he's bout to serve some time.. and why? Oh he was a greedy fuq who was just another one of the pyramid scheme con-men..
And before anyone says anything personal, I'm poor, and don't own a house, but would be very interested in buying an apartment when that comes out.

You aren't wrong in this, however everyone can have different goals. Since reaching endgame, housing is what I enjoy the most. When waiting on my queue to pop I can redecorate or craft new furniture to fill empty spaces. The promise to us was that anyone who could afford a house(FC and personal) would be able to get one, and SE hasn't made good on that. Some people just want their own space. Some people want a house for RP purposes. There are a lot of different reasons. And honestly, if I hadn't gotten my FC's house or at least my personal before space was gone, I probably would have quit too. So while the original comparison is moot, the point still stands: SE has a system in place that allows for this extortion to occur and they are unwilling to fix their mistake, and this system strips players and entire FC's who can afford it of enjoyment and, in the case of FC's, content. and Morbid is hoping that the western version of Karma will get retribution on these greedy, selfish players, and I can definitely drink to that.
