Houses got available, What happened?

People bought houses to sell em on partyfinder.
Honestly, This is so extremely sad. And no i'm not mad, I've got my own large house.
But the fact of the mather is, People do this to ABUSE the system.

I've said this weeks ago when SE said they would do this, And guess what? My money was on the right horse. I've been keeping an eye out on the market today, Houses got open, People bought em and as we speak 4 people are selling houses as we speak(That got opened up) And how many people are waiting a few days/weeks to sell their houses now?

Jesus, i'm actually ashamed of this community. And i find it odd how the social structure in DF/PF is dying in this game.

I feel so bad for the people that actually would like to buy a house without having to pay someone money to give up their freshly bought house as we speak.
I actually bought my brother a house who rarely plays at this time, but i know he'll make more use out of it than someone who will bought it just to make a few mill profit out of it.

Not gonna lie...this kinda made my day eheh. Lav beds plot 49 ward 8 subdivision..and I wouldn't sell my house for a night with Minfilia and Lion at the same time. Maybe Tataru..what..whaa? Kidding kidding. But seriously...

Applesnap and Madjames both raise valid points. But you have to remember 1 thing first and formost: HOUSES ARE 'LUXURY' ITEMS. They are in NO way needed to advance the game. Granted, having your cozy personal spot is a hellava lot nicer than laying in your fc bed hearing Stormshadownix and Bubblebum Kittah makin the walls rumble in the next room, but its just not a key item to advance any story plot.

Lambdafish makes the greatest points though...supply and demand. Its like being expected to sell a Porshe for 10k just because everyone on the block wants one. Thats unrealistic. Yes, SE shouldve come up with a better way to sell houses but thats just how it is with current demand. Would I have paid 100 mil for a small Lav plot? If I wanted the house badly enough...yes. (Anyone remember the item- Kraken Club?) Just saying...til SE fizes it so that everyone who wants one has a genuine shot at a house, this is the realistic situation to be delt with. (and hell..I don't even garden/craft with mine >_>

This is so screwed up... it's been more than a year that people have been asking SE for housing plots, that they are completely full and that lots of player left that game because of that shit. And what do we have here ? SE releasing that freaking ridiculous patch, tons of people camping houses as if they were NMs, and in the end... 99% of the players waiting for a house unhappy to be unable to buy one.
Gratz SE, you managed to fail AGAIN. Merry Christmass indeed...
