/p TP check <TP>I think it is mostly a community issue in MMOs. There are a lot people that have the mentality that you should be only maxing you DPS output as a dps. Most people really don't consider party support. If you need them to do something I would suggest just asking. As a Nin there are times that I forget to goad because I am focused on my rotation. A simple reminder from the tank helps pull me away from the "max out my damage" mentality and into a support my party one.
This macro gives the exact number of my current TP and I use it when my TP gets low. Whether or not anyone wants to goad/song/turret me is up to them.
You see, right there tells me your state of mind if that's actually a macro. This tells me that you think it's above you to ask for something straight off, and instead drop a hint during a clearly intense fight and expect people to not only do their job, but also listen to your comments, AND figure out what you want done. As a main PLD myself, I can count on my hands since heavensward where I actually ran out of TP in non-raid dungeons. Get your vane self appreciating attitude out of your gameplay and start letting people know what you need when you need it and MAYBE things will get better on some things.
On another note, there is no fixing bad dps without actual concrete evidence they are bad, in full view of everyone including themselves, so there is absolutely no confusion that they need to make some changes. This is why there needs to be DPS parsers integrated into the system so we can see exactly what is being put into the group. Something like an on-going dps/heal parser like the one from frontlines would suffice. That way, once people start seeing they need to pick it up or get shipped out, they'll either "git gud" or "get lost".
