If it causes a 20-30 minute run to turn into a 45-60 minute run then... it's kind of an issue that you may want to concern yourself with. Not everyone has the time to run a single dungeon for an hour.
Not really, the few times I've seen those kinds of times was because I chose to assist a tank/healer that was learning. I've been learning myself at times, everyone needs to start somewhere. If you've not got the patience for the DF, don't use it.

That's... not what this thread is about. Not at all. I've helped plenty of new people, and have taken my time on multiple occasions. But if no one in the group is new, and thus should be aware of what they are doing, causing the run to take almost twice as long because you can't hit DPS checks, or because trash takes forever to take out, is a problem. It has nothing to do with patience.
so something taking longer than you'd like has nothing to do with patience....
You can have very old players not familiar with all content and all classes, so you're assuming for a start. You can have all level 60's, that does not mean they are experts on all of it.
So I have a question my alt is a 50 NIN and I use doton on bosses. I honestly didn't know it was bad, I just try to learn how it all works for my dps, So I will keep in mind that is bad, I'm sorry if you got me in a dungeon and I annoyed you...
I am a servant as a tank. I also must still lead us through each path, I need my teams help. I work to protect, not to rule. I am a Tank.

i got tired of playing a tank, sometimes its to much work to hold argo especially when DPS are being lazy and not attacking the target that i assigned as "1" and "2" , then when they get argo and die they want to blame the tank? My feelings as a Dragoon is to single attack small trash pulls maybe 3 or less mobs and then use AOE on large trash pulls

I have to say that I am not that experienced in the game and that Dragoon is the only job that I feel like I've made some decent progress in mastering, but I've seen things similar to this.
On point it was Cutter's Cry with me on WHM and my friend on SMN. After a few trash pulls I was noticing that everything was dying slower than I thought it would despite going into Clerics a few times but then I started paying attention to the other dps, a DRG. They weren't using Heavy Thrust, the Full Thrust combo, or any buffs. I only ever saw them use Jump and the Spear Throw Skill aside from auto-attacking. Quite frankly I was shocked as I had not seen something like that quite before.
Then 2/3rd of the way my friend mentions as nicely as possible about Heavy Thrust and the DRG uses it at last, well once or twice anyway, while mentioning that they had 'always been using it'. I let them die at the Chimera when they weren't even trying to dodge the ice aoe.

There's already a thread on the Healer Forum that's basically the same as this. It's not a "circle jerk", it's a thread where people can blow off steam or share bad experiences. There is also a thread where people discuss times they screwed up and caused wipes. Just because a thread complains aboutbad DPS does not mean the posters think they are perfect.

(On mobile so I can't edit, yay!)
There was/is also a thread in the Healer Forums that was specifically for complaining about bad healers. Most people just who criticized the thread complained the title was too exclusive (it was something like Wtf Mage or something, so was basically a WHM thread).
